Her Last Words...

"Hnng..." Misaki woke up. She look around and sees a lady in white. "Um... excuse me." Misaki said.

"Hm? Ah! Your awake! I'll go get your family." The lady in white said as she left the room.

Misaki look around her and realized "I'm guessing this is a hospital and that lady just now is probably a nurse..." Misaki muttered. "System?" Misaki whispered quietly.

'No respond...' Misaki thought.

Not long after Misaki look at her surrounding, her family enters the room. Her mom, her dad, her two older sisters and her two younger sisters.

"Misaki, your finally awake." said Misaki's mom as she took a sit next to Misaki's bed.

Misaki's dad is standing behind Misaki's mom, the oldest sister stand beside the door, the older sister stand right next to Misaki's mom while the two younger sisters stands at the other side of the bed.

"I was worried when I suddenly got a call saying you fainted." Misaki's mom said.

'You? Worry? About what? Hospital fees? Or that someone probably have to take care of me? Or are you worried about getting one of your source of income suddenly cut? Plus, it's not even the first time I fainted.' Misaki thought with frustration but she tried not to show it on her face.

"The doctor said it's nothing serious but it's probably the same reason as always. I told you, you should eat properly and don't be picky!" said Misaki's mom.

Misaki answered with a short "Hm."

'Are you here to visit me or to nag at me!! Calm down. Calm down.' Misaki thought as she tries to keep her mind calm.

Misaki has anemia which makes her feel like fainting and actually fainting from time to time, however Misaki's mom would always blame Misaki every time she felt anemic so Misaki usually tough it out and tries to hide anything that would make it look like she's sick.

"Just when I thought you actually went and became dependable, you fainted and causes problem for everyone." said Misaki's mom.

'Look here mom. I'm supposed to be dead and free from your inconsiderate nagging but I came back to let you all have a piece of my mind before I go. Oh, wait. I guess the system changes "dead" to "fainted" and fixes the timeline a little so I'm able to come back. In other words, I'll still die later... I wonder how long I have before I need to go back to MHA world...' Misaki thought.

"Are you daydreaming while I'm talking?!" said Misaki's mom.

"Huh? No, I didn't." Misaki answered.

'I was just thinking when I'll die.' Misaki thought.

"Then why are you staring into space. Seriously... Misaki please realize your 26 years old already, stop acting like a child. Most people are already married at your age but here you are fainting like it's a normal thing to do." said Misaki's mom.

'It's not like I choose to faint or did I choose to have anemia... plus there's tons of people who is YOUR age and still single...' Misaki thought.

"You should just get yourself a husband to take care of you." said Misaki's mom.

'Like I said, there's tons of people who is your age and still single AND alive even if they don't husband or wife.' Misaki thought.

"Anyway." said Misaki's mom.

"Mom." Misaki tried to call her mother.

"You should really start eating properly." said Misaki's mom.

"Mom." again, Misaki tried to call her mother.

"And you should start exercising, I mean look at your skinny bod-" said Misaki's mom.

"Mom!" Misaki tried raising her voice a little.

"What?" Misaki's mom asked.

"Can we all talk?" Misaki asked.

"Talked about what?" Misaki's mom asked.

"Mom, can I talk to you- Nevermind, let's just talk together." Misaki said.

"What are you talking about, Misaki?" asked Misaki's mom.

The others are confused.

Misaki is scared, scared to say everything but 'It's okay... I'll die later anyway... It's now or never...' is what gives courage to her.

"Mom, you really should stop talking like that." Misaki said.

The oldest sister got shocked and start getting closer causing Misaki to be afraid but she calms down at the thought of going to her other family later.

"I was just worried about you." said Misaki's mom.

"If you're worried then then stop telling me to eat properly, to exercise just stop telling me to do those stuff." Misaki said frustratedly.

Misaki could see her father frowning but she wants to say what she were never able to say.

"I've been eating and working out ever since I'm out of that house. I'm getting better and healthier after leaving all of you and yet you can't see that." Misaki start getting teary.

"Then, what?! You want to us leaves right now?! Sure, with pleasure. Do you really think we even want to visit you that much." said the oldest sister.

"That's not a nice thing to say." said Misaki's mom to the oldest sister.

"Well, she was being rude! We're visiting her, yet she's behaving like this!!" said the oldest sister.

Tears trickling down Misaki's cheeks as she hear those words.

'It's always like this... always... they'll always take HER side even when I'm trying to fix this family! I... I just... I just want to talk one last time... Why can't they see that... Why can't they just hear me out...' Misaki thought as her tears came streaming down on her face.

"Let's go home. She look fine so there's no need to stay longer." said Misaki's dad.

A moment later, everyone except for Misaki is already out of the room.

"... Heh..." Misaki chuckled. "Why did I thought they'll listen...?" Misaki muttered. "I'm soo dumb..." She mumbled as she starts to quietly cry.

'Hey, system I want to go back...' Misaki said. "..." Nothing happened.

*tick tock*

"Hm?" Misaki search for the clock sound and sees some kind of timer on a floating screen.

[3:08] is shown on the timer.

'I'm guessing I'm the only one who can see this and I have about 3 minutes left...' Misaki thought.

"Hmm..." Misaki sees her bag on the table beside the bed. She takes the bag and gets her phone out. She open the message app and search for her younger sister's number. She open the message and type,

[Kazuko, sorry but I can't help you with school problems after this. So, don't go playing hooky like usual, don't go skipping class just because you hate the teacher, don't go throwing other people stuff just cause they stole yours and DEFINITELY don't go jumping from the fourth floor just because you like parkour... I can't go to school and act as your guardian anymore so don't cause troubles. Bye-bye...👋👋 Love you I guess?😅😅]

Misaki chuckled at her own text and prepare to press the send button. She look at the timer.

[1:49] is shown on the timer.

Misaki wait until it's 1 minute left before sending the message to her younger sister. She quickly open the family group inside the app with the intention to send a last text to them but changes her mind and send another text to her younger sister.
