Chapter Four •Andre And Dawn•

Sitting upright, Dawn noticed a tall masculine figure in front of her. wiping her eyes, she blinked fast and finally she recognized the structure. "Andre?" she called out. "Come look st this" Andre said, not looking back. "whoa?!" She exclaimed, Noticing the magnitude of the Castle, Miles from them. "This isn't earth. The soil isn't the same" Andre said, pointing at the green grasses. "But its still air here. and we ain't dead. it might be earth. just a different side" dawn said, dusting her dress. "Lets walk towards that castle. maybe we'll find life there" Andre said, moving forward. "Are you crazy? you don't know what resides there. maybe it's haunted or..or some creature lives there like the ones in hobbit" she fired, eyes wide open. "There's nothing there" Andre replied "and weren't you the one who said it's still Earth? now, let's find that out" He said, smiling broadly. Dawn flushed out by the way he smiled but kept it low so he didn't notice. Damn. He's one hell'a masterpiece, she thought. "okay then" she finally agreed "what if there's something there?" she asked, rubbing her upper arm. "As long as it doesn't hurt you, it's fine by me" He said, moving ahead. she flushed again, this time, really vivid. "okay" she mumbled "im quite hungry" she added. "We'll see what we could get there. pray its human" Andre said, teasing her. "you've got to be kidding, right?" she asked, pausing. He looked back at her and at a quick notice he observed she was scared to bones. He almost laughed but he realized it was one perfect time to let her feel his emotions towards her. "C'mon. imma protect you alright" he said, going towards her with his arm outstretched. She took it, staring into his dark eyes. it was at that point Andre, yet again, admired her entire beauty. She was dark skinned, quite short compared to Andre, really thick and curvy one could mistake her shadows for a vase. She had a little round face which homed her little pink lips and asian-like blue eyes. she wasn't really busty to which Andre wasn't a fan of.

"We'll be be fine. i promise" He finally spoke, as he pulled her close. They walked a long distance towards the distant stucture, thanks to the akward looking weather, it wasn't a hot day. They finally got to a Big sign which had a writing they never had heard of. "this is specifically weird. I've never come across...." Andre was interrupted by the noise coming from the tall bushes meters from them. "what's that, dre" dawn asked, looking quite pale than she had the other time. "Shhh". He then walked, almost silently, towards the sound. opening the bushes, what he saw made him breath really loudly which made the creature suddenly turn towards Andre's direction. The creature, waiting no longer in observation, charged towards Andre. andre then looked back, yelled at dawn to run farther from where she stood.Reaching towards a pointed log beside him, the creature got to him bringing him down. The creature then stood up, reaching to drag Andre's left leg. At simultaneous speed, Andre picked the log again, Setting it into a javelin- throw hold, sending it into the left eye of the creature, splashing a cobalt colored liquid on Andre. The creature then dropped Andre immediately, knelt in pain before attempting to pull out the log from his eye. Andre shot up and charged towards the green creature. He then pulled out the log and almost before he was to stab the beast at the chest, Andre whispered to himself "who the hell are you?" and to his astonishment, the creature replied, in a deep, baritone voice "Hold on, you tiny creature. you've blinded me". Andre the moved back, retreating in some odd manner. "You speak English?" Andre asked, puzzled by what he just heard. "what are you waiting for dre, kill the animal already!" Dawn yelled from a distance. He turned back, then faced the creature again, almost totally ignoring what dawn said. "only you can understand me. for now. You tasted my eye waters. they could make any Body from the multiverse understand us" The creature replied, tying the eye patch he just made out of a piece of cloth it had torn from the cloth tied around his wrist. "But what are you exactly?" Andre questioned further. "Orc. This is Jendiäh, also known as earth two. we are totally unlike you but understand everything you do. This side is the clan of Zemigön. He knows you're here and that's why I'm here. to capture you" He answered. Studying the orc in front of him, he observed they were just like humans except it was 7feet, Green and really muscular. "Moving up far north from here where we stand, it'll lead you to The Clan side of Xërv, the birth rival of this Clan; East from here, The Clan of Ütsu, The Modern Warriors; west, The clan of Debärr, The working clan; south, The Deadliest of all, The Clan of Godar. I'll let you escape from me for the law says this. Take your bag and your woman and run far from here. take this. it'll help you soon" The Orc added, giving Andre a knife which looked like a long butchers knife, Made out of bones.Andre collected the offer, picked his bag and dusted his body. just before he could look up to talk again, the orc had sped into the bushes.

"Are you nuts???!" Dawn yelled, as she came running towards him. he didn't answer, which made dawn furious. "You let that thing go and now you're not going to answer me?!" She yelled again, this time, tapping him vigorously as he walked. "That thing just saved both our lives" Andre said, in an usual calm voice, still moving ahead. Dawn, shocked at his response, pestered on. "How?" she asked. "Now you've got to stop and talk to me" she added. turning back to face her, he stared straight into her eyes to show how serious he was. "They know we're here. this isn't earth. Greg and chloe is somewhere in this planet that we know nothing about. Now we have to find our friends and Our way out of here" he said, turning back again at his last words. With that, She wanted to ask more but the fear in andre's eyes when he spoke told her not to. She then ran towards him and held his left hand. "You're injured?" she asked, observing the slight cuts on his fist. "Yeah" he replied, puzzled by her sudden calm approach. "I'm sorry i yelled back there" she said, as they came to a halt. "Its okay. i understand you're terrified and its my fault. you should be home or with your boyfriend" Andre said, shyly. "matthew is an old friend not my boyfriend. everyone thinks he's my boyfriend but I'm actually single" She said, staring at Andre. The closeness between them created a kind of sensation. "I thought he was your boyfriend. wo..w" andre said, stammering. "Well, truth is I've ha...." He was then cut short by a sudden kiss which fell on his lips. in slow response to the shock, he kissed her back, grabbing her around the waist lightly. "I've been wanting to do that for three years now" she said, as she withdrew, hands on his chest. "You have a crush on me?" Andre asked, amused by what he just heard. "You could say that" she replied, looking down, a smile across her lips. "oh BOY?! i was just 'bout telling you my feelings for you too" he confessed in amusement. "i just never told you 'cause i thought you had a thing with Matthew" he added. "We should get moving along before the night falls" she said, looking at him again in pure Admiration in her eyes. "yeah, we should" He Agreed, holding her hands as they moved on ahead.
