Chapter Five •Matthew and Josh•

It was a normal morning at Optimum High with students moving around the big lawn and parents dropping off kids. Last night was really not good for Mrs McPherson judging by the way she drove into the school's compound in Her Mercedes G63 -Wagon. As she was about to alight her vehicle, the bell rang, signifying all students should be inside. She waited for the massive number of students to go in before she went in despite the fact it took more time than anticipated. walking into the building, she went straight to Mr William Lukeshire's office, who is the principal of the school. It was quite a Walk as the hallway was rather long, based on the fact the school was still in the old architecture as when built with only a few amendments.

"Good morning, mrs McPherson", Mr William greeted her, gesturing a hand towards the chairs in the opposite side of his table "have a seat" He added. Greg's mother wasn't wearing the best of expression which gave mr mcpherson the thoughts that something must definitely be wrong. "good morning to you, principal william" She finally said. "My son hasn't been home since when i left him at home yesterday. His car isn't even at home. i do suppose you might know anything, perhaps?". The question came as a little surprise because greg would never miss school even when he's ill sometimes. "I haven't seen him today but well, give me sometime. I'll be in his class" He replied. "I'll be here" she replied.

walking down towards Greg's class, principal William wondered what was really going on. ever since he started schooling there, nothing could possibly make him stay home.

"Hello there" , Mr Williams called out "Hope i'm not interrupting y'all?" he asked. "No sir, we're Okay" Mrs lewis answered. As Mr William entered, He pulled his collar towards and straightened his gray slim tie. He is a man his mid forties but looked too young for his age. He being broad-chested, Dark tanned skin, six feet four inches tall making him look quite too noticeable, his Dark, well barbed hair and beardless chin making him look more attractive.

"Good morning to you all. i would make this quick. have any of you by any chance, come across Greg a...." He was cut short as he noticed four empty desks. "where's andre, dawn and chloe?" He asked, facing mrs Lewis squarely, arching an eyebrow. "none are present today" She answered. "Like, you mean, they've not been in school?" Mr William asked, bewildered. "not seen them at all" she answered. "is Anything the problem? she asked. "Yeah. there's a...." again. he was cut short by Josh who was at the window. "I was passing and overheard your discussion. i think i know where their cars are. it's been there for quite sometime. last time i saw them was last night. they weren't vivid to me but im certain its them". josh said, walking calmly into the class. "where was this?" Mr william asked, bewildered for the fact a senior should know the whereabouts of greg.

"The Old Garage" josh smirked, rolling his eyes upward, to avoid the spoiling looks of mr william. "When was this?" He asked, again. "Some time back. The cars are still there by the way. maybe we could go and check later Today" josh replied, walking out of the classroom, a little smile across his face. "Come with me josh. we're going now".
