Raina Corps created a video game that players can immerse themselves into. For most it is just a normal game, but for Vicky, it turned into a nightmare. Her brother was murdered because of the game and now she seeks to avenge him.

For Vicky, vengeance took an unexpected turn when it led to a whole lot of new events. She found another survivor, someone she thought she lost. Eventually, avenging her brother, she faces betrayal, and finds the dark past of her parent’s murder.

Vicky finds herself in the center of something she never thought she would. She learns more about her mother’s secrets, and her work with the company that built the VR technology.

Vicky's Reality

Vicky, the captain and Connor were still in the hospital.


"Vicky! You've barely told me anything about your life after…" Connor said, and paused.


"After the fire?" Vicky asked, and continued "I didn't have a life after the fire. It was just me surviving."


"You must have had some fun?" Connor said, trying to  make Vicky talk.


"What's fun about having the people you care about leave you?" Vicky asked.


"I think what your dad's trying to ask is if you've had a boyfriend," the captain said. Vicky looked at the captain, and then at Connor.


"Why not? You used to say that you wanted a boyfriend," Connor said.


"What's the use of having a boyfriend? Just another person to hurt me eventually," Vicky said.


"Not if there's true love," the captain said.


"There's no such thing as true love," Vicky replied, and continued "Love is just another word, for people to get to know you, and then hurt you."
