"She's not," Connor replied. He glared at Ryan and continued, "You hurt her again, I'll make sure it's the last thing you'll ever do."

"I won't. She's… hmm!" Ryan said, as he looked down and smiled.

"She said something about getting injected by an 'unknown substance' yesterday. What happened?" Ryan asked.

"Matt visited. He got her into trouble. Rick tried to kidnap her. The worst thing is all she has is Matt's word. She doesn't remember what happened," Connor said.

"Looks like I'll need to have a talk with him," Ryan replied.

"No. It's fine. I hated that guy anyway," Ryan said. He nodded and walked towards the front door.

"If this is one of your moves to get on my good side, to steal Vicky… it's not going to work," Connor said, when Ryan was nearing the door.
