Umbrakinesis

In a hideout far away from human civilization, anyone with supernatural hearing would be able to hear discussions from beneath a cliff. Beneath the cliff, was a building made of stone in the shape of a halved hexagon with holes for windows all over it.

Inside was a table with plates for each person sitting there, with food in the middle, eight people are each sitting in chairs, five women, and three men. One of the women in revealing attire started talking.

"The targets this time are Orge, of the imperial police, Gamal, an oil merchant, and Masaru, a traveler. According to our client... 'Gamal, the oil merchant, has been paying Ogre a huge amount in bribes, and Masaru, a traveler, was the killer of several villages that had my family in them. Each time Gamal commits a crime, Ogre pins the blame on an innocent person. My fiance was one of them, executed for a crime he didn't commit. Masaru is still traveling in search of more villages to kill its people, and I'm afraid of him coming to mine. Please... Please right this injustice and murder!' Understood. I'll send them to hell."

On top of a mountain called Mt. Fake in the northern region of the continent, was Masaru. Testing his new nodachi, "Masamune," against the danger beasts that disguise themselves as objects. Several corpses of danger beasts lay on the ground sliced in half. Masaru sliced through a disguised tree diagonally, the top half falling towards the ground.

'This Masamune is incredibly powerful, and with my physical capabilities, this ridiculous weapon is actually lethal. That blacksmith mentioned it had the powers of the shadows which it should be called umbrakinesis...'

Masaru had slashed at the empty air in front of him, in the moment of swinging, dark energy began to build up from the top of the sharp edge of the blade to the bottom, creating a wave of darkness to shoot out. Boulders 5 meters in height, 4 meters in width, and 3.4 meters in length were crumbled to dust as they were in the path of the wave of dark energy.

[Masamune's Abilities]

-Surround enemies in pitch-black clouds of dark space

-Use darkness as a portal to travel from one dark space to another (dark space must be places wielder has been in before)

-Use shadows to cover the wielder in darkness to become invisible

-Wielder can see enemies through the darkness while enemies cannot

-Use darkness to become a virtually impenetrable barriers

-Absorb shadows around wielder for Masamune to become deadlier

-Becomes stronger at night or in dark places

Restrictions:

-Wielder can only use one ability of Masamune one at a time

After several hours of testing the Masamune's special properties, it was night. A large man with a pompadour, spying on Masaru, who was around a campfire. Masaru was in the midst of cooking a danger beast he killed. The man named Bulat activated his spear-like weapon. A white mask appearing to be made from some sort of steel materialized, silver shoulder pads with a long white cape sprouting from the back of it, on the upper half of the chest was a silver coverage, while everything below looked to be made of sturdy white cloth with black accents on the sides. Bulat went invisible due to his weapon's ability, the Incursio. He went for the attack.
