Tatsumi had thankfully lived through the torturous waters of the canal and was on land. The same land he departed with the boat. He fled towards Night Raid's base while being soaking wet and shivering. His journey was quite slow as his energy was drained from swimming, but he had to get away from that "man". There was something off about him that couldn't be seen on the outside, despite that, he felt that he was… not a "child of Earth." Tatsumi didn't know why, but it was like a gut feeling that he would always trust. As these thoughts dwelled in his mind, Tatsumi's adrenaline from earlier then wore off, causing him to collapse. As he fell, he saw a petite girl wearing a pink dress with pink hair with twin-tails on the side running towards him.

"Thank… God, it's Mine...."

With the boat finally arriving at the Empire's docks, Masaru covered himself in darkness to protect himself in case something attacks him. Guards were running inside the boat to only be horrified by the bloodshed and corpses splattered across the floors and tables. Some guards were vomiting onto the floor, much to the disgust of others. Masaru walked through the doorway and ran into the gateway of the Empire.

Any passerby saw a humanoid... thing covered in a veil of shadows walking among them. It was like walking with Death. Anyone near this thing slowly walked at least 5 meters away from it. Children that saw this wailed and ran away towards their mother for protection. The man of shadows saw a crowd around a wooden board. Much to its curiosity, it walked towards the crowd and picked up a piece of paper on the board.
