"There was this really annoying guy. It was kinda sad when he fell down the stairs but I had to laugh." Zamora's dad was busy highlighting them about his business trip.
"You should have seen his face." He brought the entire house down.
"Dad." Zamora was on the verge of tearing up. Unlike her, her dad was something else. He was a big trouble maker. He made fun of most of his coworkers. For his age he was rather childish. His mother was shocked at the result they received from his doctor, that he wasn't diagnosed with any disability. Zamora had adopted most of her childishness from him.
"There was this other one. He ate like a cow. It amazed me when he had to live on the throne for one week because he drank a expired chocolate milk. "
Zamora laughed at her dads use of words 'throne'.
Her mom only shook her head. Her smile was bright and excitement danced in her eyes.
"You are something else."
"Oh really." He leaned in and pecked her lips. Zamora smiled at her parents affection. Most children would be disgusted or grossed out by their actions. But Zamora was happy about this. It bubbled up excitement withing her. Her parents were happy together it brought warmth to her soul.
"Zamora there is something we wanted to tell you." Her mom grinned excitedly lacing her fingers through her husbands own. They bought exchanged glances uncertain if breaking the news was a good idea.
"What is it?" She said impatiently. She beamed at her parents. Unaware of the situation.
"I've been thinking about telling you a month ago, but your dad was away. I taught now would be the right time to tell you since your dad is here now." Her mom giggled like a young school girl. Her eyes bright and held back so much emotions.
"Just spill it."
"We are expecting a baby."
Zamora laughed bitterly, shaking her head. She almost choked on her own spit. She drank the entire glass if water her mom gave her before dinner was served dinner. Her mind went wild.
"Zamora?" Concern was laced in her moms soft voice.
"You are kidding right. You just accidentally said the word baby right." She looked up at both her parents with pleading eyes. When both her parent shared a disappointed looks, she knew it was no accident. Tension filled the large dining room making it seem a bit smaller. It became hard for Zamora to breath. Realization hit her. Her mom was expecting a baby which meant she was pregnant. She would no longer receive attention from her dad anymore. Her lying brother was enough to handle now there was another baby in the picture. They would be busy attending to a wining baby. Zamora's heart beat increased at a rapid rate. How did this happen. How stupid. She already know how it happened. Her heart felt as if it would break through her rib cage any moment.
"Zamora honey." Her dads soothing voice could be heard but it sounded so distant.
She didn't want to hear it. She was so angry that she could see red. "How could you do this to me!" Her face contorted.
"Calm down."
"Don't tell me to calm Down!" She scolded slamming her fist on the oakwood dining table. Her mind ran wild at all the possibilities of how she might be treated after the baby was born. She might not be paid any attention at all. Her parents voice was so distant her vision blurred. Soon darkness sucumed her. She fell onto the cold tiled floor banging her head against the dining table.

"Zamora honey." Her dads voice was just a daze.
"Zamora!" She sprang from her bed like a wild puss. Her head throbbed mercilessly as if experiencing a hangover.
"Ouch!" she groaned.
"How are you feeling?" Her dad's voice was gentle. He had managed to take her to up to her room after she passed out.
"My head hurts. why does my head hurt?" She didn't have any memory of earlier.
"Place this on your head." Her dad handed her an ice pack.
"Thanks." She placed it onto her forehead.
"Your mom told you something and you didn't take it well I guess. You passed out and bumped your head pretty badly."
Realization hit her and everything came back to her. Her mom had just broke a news to her about her pregnancy. She freaked out. She still haven't came back to her senses. How could her mom be pregnant? Zamora didn't suspect a thing for the past two months. There were no signs of pregnancy. Her moms tummy was still flat as before. There was no sign of another life within her. She shook her head.
"Mom can't be pregnant. What about me?"
"What about you?"
"Seriously dad?" She groaned despite of her throbbing head. "I need a walk."
"But you are not well."
"I'll be fine."
"Don't forget about your illness Zamora."
"Please don't mention it. I really don't want to talk about it."
♥♥♥♥
"How could they do this to me." She grumbled as she kicked over a trash can that was on the side walk.
She was more upset than ever. The last thing she needed was another sibling. She wanted her parents all to herself. Even though shoe shared them for years with her brother. But she was a selfish brat.
"I hate that kid." She said bitterly.
"That thing ruined everything."
"Should I be worried."
Zamora's head snapped up at the direction the voice came from. There leaning against a palm tree stood Michael as handsome as ever. Zamora couldn't help but check him out. He seemed shirtless even though he had on a shirt. His muscles were on full display. His cherry kissable lips along with his piercing orbs awoke a army of fluttering butterflies in the pit of her stomach. She shook the sinful thought from her head before she could take it any further. Her eyes darkened and she bawled her fists. All she wanted to do was punch him in his perfect face.
"You again."
"You seem upset about something?"
"Why do you care!"she scowled.
"We might not be on good terms for some unknown reason. I know that I've hurt your feelings earlier when I said all those hurtful things. I didn't mean any of them I was upset."
He continued when she didn't say anything. "I care about you Zamora far more than you think. I care about how you feel. I know I'm a ass. And I know you hate my guts." He took calculated steps towards her.
"But why would you care about me?" Zamora furrowed her brows. She only knew him for a month. She had to admit he was a very hard person to read. He had mood swings worst than a pregnant lady.
"Because I think am falling for you."
The air froze in Zamora's lungs. She stared wide eye at the Greek god in front of her. Why would he be falling for her? She laughed mentally. Was this a dream? She thought. No one had ever said those words to her. And he was the last person she expected such words from. Earlier on she taught he hated her. Why would he say those words? Was he playing around with her? Was this a game? Was this his way of discovering how stupid ad naive she could be? Nothing seemed to make sense to her.
Well if he was playing her he was damn good at playing?
"Is this a silly game?" She managed to say despite her voice refusing to work. Hurt was printed across her face. He had a girlfriend but here he was flirting around with Zamora.
He took another step towards her. He was now a few centimeters away from her. "Why shouldn't I?"
"You have a girlfriend..." She was cut of by his lips that were on hers. Her brain refused to work. She stood there frozen unable to react to what was happening. She only knew the man of her dreams had his lips pressed to hers.
