Zamora's eyes widened as realization struct. She was at the same time mesmerized with how soft his lips were against hers. It wasn't long after she started kissing him back hungry for a taste of his sweet lips. Their lips moved in sync. Butterflies fluttered in her tummy. Sparks traveled up her arm where he touched her. Leaving behind goosebumps. A shiver went up her spine and her hair stood on ends.
This is wrong. She taught to herself. He had a girlfriend. This shouldn't be happening. On the other hand everything about it felt right. she buried her hands deep in his soft hair tugging at it harshly. A low growl left his throat. He slipped his tongue within her mouth wanting to taste more of her sweetness. A moan slipped from her lips which he swallowed.
She fought with herself long and hard before she quickly pulled away. They were breathless from the heated kiss they shared. His eyes held so much lust for the beauty in front of her. She couldn't find it within her to meet his intense gaze. She ran as fast as she could away from him. She didn't turn back to face him.
Pain was written across Michaels face. He was well aware of the fact that he crossed the line. But she could have stopped him but she continued. which left him with only one conclusion. She was as hungry for him as he was for her.He had to couldn't deny it anymore because he would do himself no good he was falling for her hard and fast. He just hoped she was somewhere waiting to catch him before he lands. There was just something about her that pulled him towards her.
.......
"Greg's back."
"I heard he's gone senile."
"I heard he's psycho."
"I heard he's delusional." The students continually whispered.
The schools hallway was a fluttering bee hive. The minds of the students hummed.
Zamora squeezed through the crowd of gossipers towards Jason.
The weekend had flew by quickly and another week had started. Zamora still hadn't come to her senses. She still didn't accept the fact that her parents were expecting a new baby. Zamora taught it was a silly prank they tried to pull on her.
On the other hand she felt as if everything was just a nightmare. She haven't seen or spoken to Michael the day he kissed her. Apart of her felt hurt and betrayed. But she shouldn't be feeling that way.
She couldn't deny the fact that she liked how his lips felt against hers. But he had a girlfriend he shouldn't be taking advantage of her. She might be naive sometimes but she wasn't dumb. She would surely give him a piece of her mind.
"What's going on?"
"I would ask you the same thing." Jason munched on a chocolate bar.
"How was your weekend?"
"A disaster." Zamora scuffed.
"Come on just accept the fact that your mom is having a baby." Zamora had called him over the weekend to enlighten him. They had spend a good hour gossiping.
"I don't want any siblings."
"Why not? I wish I had a younger sibling." He was a only child. After him his mother decided that one child was enough.
"They can be a real pain in the but you know."
Jason finished munching on his chocolate bar before discarding the rapper. "Just give the kid a chance. You won't know what the baby will be like anyways." He tried to convince her.
"You are probably right."
"Am I not always right." He beamed.
The bell rang loudly echoing throughout the hallway alerting the students that it was class time. Zamora said her goodbye before striding towards her first class of the day Biology.
She was the first one to enter the class. She took a seat at her usual spot. A few minutes later the class became crowded with students who gossiped as if there was no tomorrow.
Zamora prayed Michael didn't show up for class today. She didn't want to have to face him. She knew she had to do it somehow. But now wasn't the right time.
"Hey."
Zamora was pulled from her trance when David approached her. She wasn't in any mood to speak to anyone. But the last thing she wanted to do was hurt his feelings.
"Hey." She putted on a fake smile.
"Have you heard about Greg?"
That's all he enjoyed doing. He gossiped all day long. Zamora wasn't that type of person. She enjoyed peace and quiet instead of discussing other people's problem.
"No."
"I heard he's gone delusional. He said that he was attacked by a demon. He kept hiding under the bed saying the demon wouldn't find him there."
Suddenly Zamora became interested in this. "Demon?"
"The guy even sketched a picture and gave it to the detective."
"Well isn't your dad a detective?"
"How do you think I know so much silly."
Zamora shrugged. "I don't know."
"Greg's definitely gone. As much as I believe in mythical creatures they definitely don't exist."
"The guy went through so much I don't think he's delusional. He lost his girlfriend and that must have been soo much for him to take in. He's only one person."
"Well you haven't seen the guy."
Zamora quickly remembered the sketching he had mentioned earlier. "Do you have access to the sketching he had drawn of whatever attacked him."
"No. My dad refused to let me see it. He said he could loose his job for letting things like that go public."
"Its okay."
"Will you be at Candy's funeral next week."
"No."
"Come on."
"I hate funerals." Zamora had developed this hate when her grand father passed away. They were both as close. The same way she was with her dad. She loved him dearly. He was her role model. And he never made anyone push him around. He was a quick person to defend his rights.
"Please." He pleaded with her.
"Okay." She sighed knowing the guy wouldn't give up. She a phobia for coffins. There was no way in hell she was going to that funeral. Infact her parents wouldn't allowing considering her situation.
The week had gone by quickly. Zamora haven't seen or heard from Michael. She was furious with him for kissing her but ignore her afterwards. On the other hand she was worried about him considering the fact that Lamella haven't heard from him either. It was never like him to not show up for school. Even though he was a very hard person to read, she knew something was up with him. It was no coincidence that he didn't show up for school. Zamora was well aware of the fact that she was his problem.
