I woke up feeling sick so I checked my bed right away. It has blood! I reached for my calendar on my side table. Shit it's my due date today... 


I immediately stood up and looked for a napkin. When I got some napkin, I went to the bathroom to get change. 


After that, I prepared the washing machine so I can wash my dirty clothes from this week and the sheets and my pajamas that got stained on. 


I just ate cereal today since I can't cook because my tummy hurts. While eating, I thought of texting Mavis. 


Can you go with me at the school? It's my due date today. My tummy hurts, help! :( 


Hi bub, 'magandang' morning! Oh no :( Don't worry about it, I'll handle it! I'll go there in an hour hehehe, see you! 


I reacted heart in her message and laughed. She really can't stop being 'conyo'. When she was young, they lived in the States. Then, they moved here in the Philippines when we were in our high school days. 


I think I'll have to wait more than hours for her. She's like that every time. Very sluggish. When we are planning on hanging out, she'll say she's on the way but the truth is she hasn't taken a bath yet. She's either lying on her bed and watching dramas or she's still asleep. 


After so many years... Just kidding! After so many hours, she finally came. She's outside knocking on the door. 


"Tine, I'm here already. Open the door!!" she shouted while knocking. 


When I opened the door, she greeted me with a smile and hugged me. I rolled my eyes before hugging her back. It's already lunch time so we decided to eat first. She bought KFC and milk tea! My favorite! Every time I have this girl thingy, she'll spoil me. 


When we finished eating, we cleaned up the dishes. Mavis volunteered to wash the dishes so I agreed. Duh that's like a once in a lifetime offer, who am I to refuse? 


What we did whole day was to watch Korean dramas on Netflix. We became attached to the drama. It's about the history of Goryeo. The ending is too painful to watch! I have trust issues so I never been into a relationship. My miserable life will became more miserable in that called thing love, but who knows? 


When I was a kid, I keep asking myself 'what is love?' . 


My curiosity turned into questions, until these questions turned into expectations. I hope one day I would not just meet someone but 'the one'... 


A little later.. I heard Mavis shouting so I immediately went to her. 


"O to the M to the G! We passed the college enrollment! Yay! I'll be with you in the same school again!" she cheered. 


We're just in front of each other yet she's shouting? Her voice is just too loud! 


A smile escaped my lips. I'm so happy that we both passed. I'm nervous when we took an exam, because one of us might not pass. 


We're both proud of each other. We really did our best to study, worth it! We need to celebrate tonight. We ordered pizza and milk tea again! It's worth celebrating for.
