The man closed the wooden door behind him and bolted it from the inside. He could not let this information leak out by any chance, he knew what he had found out could not wait. He had to inform his seniors.
He tip-toed to his desk and yanked open the drawer. The room was a rather gloomy place, the only source of light was a somewhat obscure window behind the desk that barely illuminated the place.
The man plucked up the device. It had a small red gemstone at one end and a long curved metal rod attached to it. Frantically, he put the device in the ear, and adjusted the mike that touched the sides of his cheek.
The gemstone glowed as the man touched it.
"This is Hawk reporting", he whispered.
The device seemed to come to life, the glow flickered a few times and then brightened up.
"Good afternoon Agent Hawk", came the sound from the other side, it was a lady.
"I have found the boy", he whispered, "connect me to him".
"Very well, agent Hawk", the voice replied, "connecting your call".
The device beeped for a second, the sound at the other end wavered, "Well done agent Hawk".
Agent Hawk recognised the thick voice immediately, he cleared his throat and continued, "thank you, sir".
"You have three days, agent Hawk, do not delay it any further, the boy must be brought here at any cost".
Agent Hawk shuffled his feet nervously and bit his lower lip, "I understand sir".
"The extraction team will be moving in, in seventy-two hours. Make no mistake this mission cannot fail at any cost".
"As you say, sir. I will be sending the coordinates to the team very soon".
"May the flame be with you", the man said thickly, and the device disconnected.
