“Oblin”, I said firmly, peeping through the door of his cabin.
Oblin who was holding a mug and gazing outside the window, turned around, “Ah- just when I began wondering you’d never come- come in, come in”, he scanned me from head to toe, “it appears you have been doing some research”, he said looking at my shoes, still covered in moss.
“I needed to be sure it happened”, I said.
“So are you now?”
“I need to know what happened, -last night”, I added.
“No formalities, I understand. Straight to business”
“No- I didn’t mean that”, I said biting my tongue- where were my manners?
“It’s okay, if I were in your place. I’d have done the same- please have a seat”, he said indicating to the seat opposite to him.
I took my seat and watched Oblin as he opened a kitchen cabinet and took out a rusty- metallic green box from the cupboard. With every step he took towards me, a pile of dust fell out of the box.
