It's An Order!

"From now on, Allan, you are the Honorary Knight of Lucia Renhard, The Princess of Kingdom Renhard," King stated.

"It's an honour," I bowed slightly with my right and on my chest right, where the heart is located.

My eyes meet Lucia's, and she cheerfully smiled back at me.

"Mm-hmm, I'm finally free now." I stretched my hand in air to release my stiff body.

"It would have tough for you since it must be your first time doing this job,"

"Well, maybe. Not really,"

A day ago, we were ambushed by a demon assassin, what was his name again? Ah, Terlon.

Yeah, that demon was send by Demon Empire to assassinate me but end up getting his ass kicked by me so he took hostage.

I was unwilling to save Lucia at first but in the end, I saved her...

Today, King held an official ceremony in front of all the court members in the throne room, and appointed me Lucia's Personal knight or her 𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, is what they say.

Currently, I was with Leon. We just returned from ceremony and were sitting in the dinning hall for knights, waiting for the lunch time.

Security of the castle was increased due to the ambush last day.

I thought of setting up a barrier around the castle which can prevent intruders to enter the castle with any type of magic, but end up deciding not.

Suddenly, the atmosphere of the room changed... There were some different movement in the knights around.

"... Allan," I heard someone calling me.

I turned back only to find Lucia standing there with the same genuine smile on her face.

For her to visit this place,

"Hmm..."

"Princess, what are you doing here? If you wanted something, you would have called us, there was no need for you to come here in the first place." Leon said as he understand that it is not good for a royalty to visit a place like this.

Other knights were also on there guards as they were all also flustered by sudden appearance of the Princess of their Kingdom.

"No, no Leon. It's fine, since it's me who have something to ask."

She then turned.

"Hm, is there something you want from me?"

"...Um, why are you here?"

"Well, I'm here for lunch. Is something wrong? Do want me to do something for you,"

It was clear that she came here for me, but the reason was unclear.

She was hesitating to ask so I pressured her by looking into her eyes... Pressured enough that she turned her face after few moments.

While averting her gaze here and there she asked,

"Well, I want to ask you out for having lunch with me?"

"..." Well there was nothing I can say.

Being asked out by a girl for lunch and above all when she is a Princess, it's very difficult.

"Hey, are my ears working properly?! Did the Princess just asked that new guy out for lunch?!"

"What the?! Are you kidding me?!"

"Just is that guy? Isn't he just a normal knight like us?!"

"Damn, I am so jealous?!!"

The whispers started with informing anyone. Though they weren't that loud to be heard by Lucia, but I still was able to clearly hear them.

Lucia was waiting for my reply. I have to answer her quickly cuz I don't want to attract anymore attention.

"Uhm, is there anything important beside the lunch you want to discuss to me? Anything that can't be spoke here..." I asked in a low voice.

She replied without any hesitation,

"Hm, nope. Nothing that sort, is there any problem?"

"Then something like, super important came up,"

"There is nothing. I just thought of having a lunch with you so I came here straight away."

She denied my suspicion.

"I see,"

"So, will you have launch with me?" She asked with an innocent face.

"Nah, I'll pass. I don't think it's appropriate for someone like me to have launch with a royalty. And since there is not any particular reason behind your request, I think I will pass..." A straight flat rejection.

With that, I turned my head.

"Is that guy for real?!"

"He just rejected our Princess?! How dare him!"

"That guy is insane. How can someone miss the chance for having lunch with Princess?!"

"Damn that bastard!"

This time, the voices were clear. Audible enough to be heard by Lucia.

Irritated Lucia, stopped me.

"Wait!"

I turned back.

"Th-Then, if-if you're not going to go by that, th-then h-how about this... Ahm, th-this is an order, j-jo-join me at lunch," Lucia said while continuously moving here gaze here and there.

She tried to make a serious face with heavy tone, but her cheeks were red.

I sighed.

Well if she is forcing that much then I think, it's fine, right?

Well here, my man instincts work. It's really hard for a man to refuse a woman, it's a primal instinct found in men. On the other hand, women are not that interest in men at certain limits but, well whatever... Though I wouldn't mind to refuse her, that's just how I am, but since it's her 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧, there is no helping in it...

"Ok, ok, fine. I'll go, I'll go, so just please came down." Her cheeks were slightly red before but now, she was clearly embarrassed. Her whole face was red.

"Hmph, no you have said it. Well then, march forward," She pointed her finger towards the exit and began to walk.

"Yes, princess..." I followed her path and left for lunch with her.

"Wow, Princess was too weird..." Leon muttered.

"Well, I can't deny that fact..." Neulon replied while approaching from behind.

"She was peeking from the door. She was there for around half an hour, muttering something in herself..."

"Wait, really? I didn't noticed her!"

"Well, many knights noticed her out side when she was spying and making somewhat weird expression."

"It can't be helped, is it?"

"Maybe not."

Both Leon and Neulon sighed as they saw Allan and Lucia leaving from behind.
