Daniel: You're home, Jane?

Jane and Mia immediately ran out of the room where Max was still lying, and unconscious. They quickly had to leave the site. Because according to Mia, they only have ten minutes before the surveillance camera is active again.

A white sedan was speeding through the deserted streets of New York that night, Jane wearing a white jacket to cover her overly sexy dress. Meanwhile, Mia is always happy because Jane has already got quite a lot of information.

"Done!" Jane said while closing the laptop screen. She sat beside Mia, who was driving the car. "I've written down all the information I know." Jane continued with a slightly pale face.

"Are you okay?" Asked Mia, who was worried.

"You know... reading the minds of drunk people is very tiring. Because you have to separate which thoughts are right, and which thoughts are.., Uhmm.., just say lewd."

"Sorry, do you need something to eat or something?" Mia asked and feeling guilty.

"I need to go home, and I need sleep, that's all." Answered Jane.

"Don't worry about me because tomorrow, my condition will get better." Jane continued and put Mia's laptop behind her.

"But, just now, you made me so worried, Jane. You've been in there for quite a while. So, I immediately made up my mind to do that." Mia continued to tell the story.

"Yeah. Now you saw who Max is. That guy has a lot of strength. Do you know? With my small body, how can I fight back," Jane explained.

"In that case, how about you practice self-defense. It will be useful, and I'm sure of it." Mia said excitedly.

"I have some acquaintances who can teach you privately. You don't like crowds, right?" Mia with her latest idea.

"We'll see. Obviously, for right now, I want to collect your promise to take a long vacation. Hawai will be a fun vacation place. What do you think, Mia?" Jane began to imagine the waves crashing against the sand.

"I like Hawai. And it's not a bad idea," said Mia.

"Ah... swimming, surfing, and also sunbathing. It's so fun." Jane continued, grinning happily.

"What about Henry? what if that bastard is still following you?" Mia asked worriedly.

"Hh..? I'll think about it. I want to get away from him immediately." Jane's words became sluggish, and her feelings became uncomfortable again.

"Are you all right, Jane?" Mia asked, seeing the change in Jane's face.

"I'm fine, don't worry, Mia. Henry can't hurt me again." Jane replied though she wasn't sure what she just said either.

Mia escorted Jane to the main lobby of her apartment. It was already two in the morning. The conditions around were quiet, and no one but Jane had gotten out of the car, and she said goodbye to Mia.

Jane immediately entered the building. At that time, there was only a guard who was fast asleep. She smiled slightly at the guard, who was quite old because she looked tired.

"A man his age should be enjoying his old age, huh... what about me later?" Jane said as she took a deep breath.

Jane stopped in front of the lift, and she was waiting for the lift doors to open. Not long after, he entered it, pressing the button and watching the number screen that continued to rise towards the floor of his room.

Ting...

The sound of the lift doors opening made Jane immediately step out, and the hallway was very quiet. Jane was walking towards her apartment door, and she passed through Daniel's door, which was tightly shut.

"Is he asleep or not? Or maybe the man is still in the hospital for working?" Jane muttered under her breath as she pulled out her apartment door key.

"Oh... Jane, why do you even have to think about that guy? Are you starting to get attracted to him? Huh? Enough, I think I've had too much to drink today." Jane said, and she had managed to open the door to her room.

"You're home, Jane?" asked a man suddenly.

Jane was surprised, hearing the voice of a man who was behind her. Making her key card fall to the floor, she saw the figure of a man he knew.

"Daniel?" Jane shrieked in confusion.

"Sorry, I startled you," Daniel said immediately, taking the key to Jane's apartment.

"It's yours, isn't it?" He handed Jane the apartment key.

"Ah... that's right. Sorry, I thought who was. Because I didn't see you earlier, and... uhh..." Jane pointed confusedly in all directions as she shook her head.

"You're drunk?" Daniel asked, then he looked at her from head to toe.

"Just a little... just a little," Jane answered, but suddenly her vision seemed to blur when she saw Daniel's face.

"Damn... I've been drained of my energy today, and I've had too much to drink," Jane thought and continued to shake her head rapidly.

"Jane, you should come in soon," said Daniel suggested.

"Yeah... you're absolutely right, Daniel." Jane twisted her body when she just took one foot. She immediately lost control. She felt dizzy in her head, causing Jane to fall straight down.

Daniel immediately approached Jane's body, feeling worried, and immediately grabbed Jane from behind.

"Jane... what are you doing?" Daniel asked, but the woman he had been holding on to was already unconscious and fell unconscious.

Daniel held Jane's forehead, and it turned out that Jane had a fever.

"Ah... Jane, what have you done?" Daniel said, and he immediately carried Jane into her apartment.

***

Morning.

Jane's nose faintly smelled a delicious aroma. She could feel someone was cooking chicken soup. Made Jane move her face a little, though with her eyes closed.

Finally, She was strong enough to open her eyelids, and she saw a familiar view of the room, namely her bedroom.

"Why am I here?" she asked confusedly, and she felt a tingle in her right wrist.

"Ahh... this..." Jane watched and was confused when she saw a spot as if someone had injected something into her.

Jane also just realized that she had changed clothes, but not her clothes. She's wearing a big white shirt, very loose and almost drowning Jane's tiny body. She took off the blanket and just realized that she wasn't even wearing any undergarments.

"What happened last night?" asked Jane in confusion. She was sitting on the edge of her bed.

The noise coming from outside the room made Jane even more suspicious.

"Who's out there? Damn..! Why did I forget about last night? What happened after I came back from my assignment with Mia?" Jane's mind was confused at the same time.
