Have you slept with another man last night?

Jane had gone to her bedroom door, and she was ready to grip the doorknob. However, suddenly the door opened. It made Jane step back quickly and feel panicked.

"Daniel?" Jane said when she saw the face of her neighbor who had just entered the room.

"Morning, Jane. Are you awake?" Ask Daniel. With both hands holding the tray, which contained the bowl of soup that Jane had smelled.

"Why are you here?" Jane asked and still confused.

But Daniel didn't seem to have realized Jane's concern because he just kept coming into the room and placing the food tray on the table. Jane was still watching in confusion then Daniel approached her.

"Let me check your fever," said Daniel.

He held Jane's forehead. It didn't take long before he pulled something out of his pocket. A temperature gauge, which he stuck to Jane's forehead only for a few seconds.

"Hh..?" Daniel breathed a sigh of relief. "You're feeling better. You had a very high fever last night. Luckily, I still had liquid paracetamol, so I gave you an injection Jane." Daniel said with a sweet smile, and his face looked normal.

"What is it?" Daniel asked when he noticed Jane's confused look.

"Last night?" Jane asked as she massaged her temples.

"Last night, I met you at the door. I just came back from the night shift. And you suddenly passed out, probably because you weren't well and also because of you... drank too much?" Daniel explained.

Jane was trying to remember what happened last night.

"Ah... So it's like that?" Jane asked, who was still confused. "And my clothes, you replaced them yourself?"

"Yeah... it can be said like that. Don't worry. I didn't do anything to you. I just want you to change your clothes because it's too revealing. I'm so sorry I did see your body. But I didn't do anything. I'm a doctor. I'm used to it. if you have to see someone naked, and..."

"Stop! Daniel, Enough. I know what you mean. It's okay. I'm not angry at all. I should be grateful for all your help." Finally, Jane gave a sweet smile to Daniel.

"I have prepared breakfast for you. I hope you like my cooking." Daniel continued as he glanced at his watch.

"What's wrong now? You look like you're in a hurry?" Jane also saw the anxiety on Daniel's face.

"I have an appointment with someone important at the hospital, actually..." Daniel slightly brought his face closer to Jane's ear.

"This determines the future of my work." Daniel continued whispering, and for a moment, Jane felt something strange with the sweet grin that Daniel gave.

"So... I have to go now. Are you okay if I just live you alone?" Daniel asked again cheerfully.

Jane looked into Daniel's eyes, trying to read the man's mind.

"Blank ... nothing that Daniel thought, means that the man was right with what he just said.

"Thanks, Daniel. If only I hadn't seen you last night. I don't know what would have happened to me," said Jane thanks.

"It's okay, Jane. We're neighbors. And don't hesitate if you need my help. Oh... yeah... I want you to stay rested. On the tray, I've given you a mild fever reducer and pain reliever. So, don't forget to drink, okay?" Daniel said as he left Jane's room.

Not long ago, Daniel left Jane's apartment, leaving Jane alone.

Jane sat back down on the edge of her bed and began to eat Daniel's soup which tasted quite delicious.

"He's a good man," Jane muttered under her breath as she slowly shoved the soup spoon into her tiny mouth.

But still, Jane wasn't in the mood to finish her meal. Only a few spoonfuls of soup she could swallow, she feels full and uninspired. Jane glanced at some of the tablets she hadn't touched at all, Daniel's recommendation of medicine.

"Ahh... I'll drink it later," Jane said, and it felt like she wanted to take a shower at that moment.

Just as Jane was heading to her bathroom. Suddenly, she heard the sound of her apartment door opening.

Jane's eyes widened rapidly, and again she heard the faint sound of footsteps approaching into her room.

"Daniel, is that you?" Jane asked anxiously. But it seems impossible for Daniel to come back because the neighbor doesn't have Jane's apartment key.

Jane stepped towards her bedroom door. She even often held her breath when the footsteps kept getting closer.

"Mia... is that you?" Guess Jane, though not at all sure.

"Wh... who?" Jane asked nervously.

She had just grabbed the doorknob of his room, but the doorknob moved, and soon Jane's door opened.

Of course, she panicked and immediately stepped back too fast. In the end, she tripped over with her feet.

"Jane... what's wrong with you?" Henry had just entered the room, making Jane stare in disbelief at the presence of the man she hated.

"Henry? How did you get into my place?!" asked Jane, who was still sitting on the floor, as she leaned back herself.

"What can't I do? Just a room key, that's an easy thing, Jane." Henry said and got closer.

"You look beautiful this morning, Jane. Whose shirt are you wearing? Have you slept with another man last night?" Henry asked, and he bent down so he could see Jane's face.

"It's none of your business if I sleep with anyone," Jane answered boldly, but Henry didn't seem to like the answer. And he's getting more and gloomy.

"You are only mine, Jane. Only mine! So take my word for it." Henry said and grabbed Jane's neck tightly.

"I'm not yours, Henry! you're just an asshole who..."

"hmmm...."

Jane couldn't go on criticizing anymore when Henry had licked her lips, but at the same time, there was intense pain in Jane's head.

Causing Jane to bite Henry's bottom lip hard and the man immediately took his lips off hers.

"Shit..! Jane! What are you doing!" said Henry annoyed, but he saw something strange with Jane's attitude.

"Ahh..! it hurts... Ahh...!" Said Jane holding her head with both hands. She felt her surroundings spinning rapidly.

"Jane? What's wrong?" asked a worried Henry, and immediately he took Jane's body.

"Henry... hurts... my head hurts so much. It feels like it used to be..." Jane said in pain. She even had tears in her eyes.

"Jane! Calm down, I'm here and help you," said Henry, who had put Jane's body on the bed.
