4. A puppy...?

Vivian walked round the town, looking through the shops. She tried looking for a pet shop, where she can get some toys and food for the adorable puppy in her arms.

People who she passed, were looking at her weirdly but she didn't know why they were doing that. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓...𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒅 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒎𝒆...?

She was clueless on why people were looking at her like that but she didn't care much about it and quickened her pace to find the store.

After searching for a while, she finally found a pet store at the corner of the town, where some of the shops were closed. When she opened the door, a cute wind chime hanging above the door chimed a tingling sound.

She headed in, taking a look around the shop which seemed empty...there wasn't a single person in the shop neither did she see the staff of the shop. "Hello! Is anyone in here?!"

She called out but silence replied back instead, taking careful steps, she walked into a aisle of pet food, toys and others, taking a good look around. 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔?

There were different selection of pet foods on the shelf, she picked out one and went to get a chewy toy for the puppy to chew on. She got variety of different things for the puppy since it would be useful.

𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒂𝒎 𝒊 𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑...She stood by the counter and looked around it, confirming that there wasn't any single soul around.

"I'll just leave the money here I guess-" When Vivian took out her money from her pocket and was about to place it on the counter. Out of the blue, a person magically appeared in front of her.

She jumped and got taken aback by the sudden appearance of a young boy, standing behind the counter. He was young and looked around her age, she had never seen him before anywhere.

He had brown hair and distinctively beautiful emerald like eyes...a defined jawline and with that charming features of his, he is definitely a type of guy any girl would want.

But somehow he looks different...the boy didn't have any sort of animal ears...he can't be human since there wasn't any humans in the world...

"Hope you don't mind me asking but...what type of species are you?"

The guy looked at Vivian with a sudden change of expression, he snapped his fingers and wolf ears appeared on the top of his head, smiling at her awkwardly.

"Ahahaha...Im a werewolf, I just hide them, since I don't come tend the shop often..."

"Umm...okay, here's the money and thank you..." Vivian placed the money on the counter as he helped her pack her things into a plastic bag and passed it to her.

She could see that he was looking at her with a unusual expression like the others did.

"Is there anything wrong?"

"Are you holding anything in your arms? I see that you are holding your arms like there's something there..." She raised her eyebrows in confusion, looking down at the puppy in her arms.

"I'm buying stuff for the little puppy in my arms~ isn't he cute~?" The boy didn't reply but looked shocked instead after hearing what she said to him.

She noticed his expressions and titled her head. 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒐? 𝑰𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒚 𝒑𝒆𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒇𝒇?

"Why do you look like you have just seen a ghost? hahah..." she joked around, trying to make the atmosphere a little lighter which made the guy glance back at her.

"Oh it's nothing...have a nice day and please come again next time! We also do check up for pets and grooming!"

"Thank you, I will~!" She smiled, nodding her head before leaving the pet store. She slowly headed back to the schools dormitory after getting what she needed.

"She can't be..."

When Vivian got back to the dorms, she let the puppy down as it roamed around, sniffing the place. She went to the kitchen and placed the things she bought into the cabinets.

Jennie came out of her room, hearing that Vivian opened the front door, "Oh your home~!" She took a look into the plastic bags and helped took out the things Vivian bought.

"Why did you buy dog stuff...? We don't have a dog in the dorm."

"I know but now we do~! I bought it for the puppy over there in the living rooms couch~" Jennie looked at the couch but there was nothing there, no puppy, making her look back at Vivian with a weird look.

"What puppy are you talking about? There isn't any puppy there..."

"His right here, look!" Vivian went over to the couch, taking the puppy in her arms and showed it to Jennie but she didn't have much of a reaction. All she's seeing is, Vivian holding nothing up in thin air as she stares at her.

"Are you okay Vivi? Did something happen on your walk? Did you slip and fall onto a rock, making you have mild confusion?"

"What are you talking about Jen~ nothing happened. Why are you asking me that?"

"Maybe I should call a doctor over to check up on you, just in case." Jennie placed the dog stuff down and took out her phone, trying to dial for the schools doctor but Vivian grabbed her phone out of her hands before she could.

"I'm fine Jen, I don't need the doctor but whats wrong?" Vivian had no idea, why was Jennie acting weird towards the puppy she found.

She knows how much Jennie likes puppies as much as she does but now she's having a similar reaction like the people in the town...𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒚?

"Vivian there no puppy in the house...are you hallucinating things?"

"No I'm not! The puppy is right here!" She pointed towards the floor, beside her legs. The puppy was sitting down obediently beside her, Vivian took out the pet bowls and placed food with water in it for the puppy.

They both looked at the pet bowl as the food started disappearing bit by bit. Jennie looked in disbelief with a hint of shock to it.

"T-the food is d-disappearing!" Jennie was at loss for words with what she just saw. She couldn't believe what Vivian said was true but she still had a hunch that it still wasn't true.

"See the puppy is here...don't tell me you can't see it?" Jennie nodded her head, she couldn't see the puppy that Vivian was talking about.

Vivian was curious on why she was the only one who could see the puppy but not others...𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒅𝒍𝒚...?

They went over to the couch and sat down, the puppy jumped onto Vivians lap and rested there as she petted it.

"Okay so, there's this invisible puppy that I can't see but you can in our dorm. Whether if it's true or not, you know we are not allowed to have pets in the dorms right?"

"I know...but the puppy was cute and it didn't have a owner...I pitied it. Can we at least keep it? We can just keep this as our secret~" Vivian gave a cute looking, puppy eyes to Jennie.

She sighed and laid back on the sofa, staring at Vivian, she didn't know what to say, she can't take care of a puppy that she can't see but she's willing to try.

"Fine...but I'm taking care of it with you...even if I can't see it."

"Awwww thank you Jen~!" She grinned, she looked down at the puppy and played with it while Jennie sat there looking at them.

"Well, I'll go make some dinner while you play with that puppy of yours."

"Mhmm! Thanks Jen~"
