True to his Desires

Underneath my rage, perhaps my wounds of parental rejection festered. I tried all sorts of things even sold out to a career my parents would really hate, but I still lacked satisfaction and I wondered if God really cared.

Then here I am dreaming about God...

Narrating a glimpse of my dream to a suspicious entity.

"Hey! when would you release me?" I asked an empty air.

"...You continue. Tell me more!" The unseen entity urged.

And so, here I have to tell him all...

.

.

...

Heavenly Star, Temple of God!

As Balgra Kazta fought tirelessly against countless enemies, the Legions of God including the Head Seraph—Aziel, another battle commenced between two other godly forces.

The battle between Good and Evil?

With my limited capacity to understand, I think they are both Evil?

Well, whatever! I'm a simple man!

Both were treating whomever as tools to their own advantage.

Who would be happy being manipulated into such? And if that isn't called evil, I don't know what's evil.

Then, from the hall just below the stairs leading to the throne, a crisp voice shouted like thunder! Its noise has permeated every corner of the whole temple, escaping outside the galaxy.

Planes lifting the Heavenly stars which where the Temple of God is located were not forgiven, even them suffered the shockwave emitted by his voice.

"Auriol, How despicable!"

As that voice became recognizable, a dazzling light approached. The intensity of his glare was sharp and it is directed towards a Chimera.

That Chimera is the one who schemed at Balgra Kazta.

He is the Evil God!

And the vexed voice came from someone who I, a lowly human, should've worshipped—the Heavenly God, the King of Heaven and Earth.

No one truly knows where God came from, or how long did he exist, or what was his Name.

His loyal servants, also do not know his secrets but there is one undeniable fact—he is the one and only True God.

But just the same as him, his Evil counterpart who goes by the name, Auriol had an unknown background.

Some rumors say they are both birthed by the Heavenly Stars, yet this claim would question who created everything.

If God is the Creator and Auriol is the Destroyer and the Evil God,

"Who created them? And why?"

That question still lingered in my mind. Even with all the revelations, I learned so far. Nevertheless, it's of no use to me.

For the same day when the Heavenly Gates opened, it marked the New Age.

Auriol had a face similar to a beast, he is an amalgamation of detestable creatures of myth. As to why he had this image, no one can clearly say.

Not even me.

At that moment, he snickered at the mention of the word, 'DETESTABLE.'

"How can you say it's detestable When I only gave that puny mortal a choice and a helping hand? Hehe"

Auriol's laugh was full of malice, his darkened aura cursed the sacred lands. Everything he touched turned black before it slowly withered.

The golden temple's pillars and the white floor made from the finest marbles disintegrated into dust.

This had caused God to further be infuriated at what Auriol has done.

"Damn you! Because of you! All my plans are wasted! You do not know of the grand thread of fate I have woven for the sake of this world!"

Blazing hotter than the sun, God's Divine light almost blinded Auriol. He could not clearly see what kind of look God gave him, but he could feel his wrath.

Instead of being scared, Auriol laughed even madly.

"Oh my! Bwahaha! Is the Sacred God spouting a curse? If your children have heard you... I wonder what they would think of you?"

"SILENCE! YOU VILE CREATURE!"

God stomped his feet in anger, and it produced crackles of lightning which made Auriol step back in caution.

"Oh My! No need to be so upset... This place shall soon be mine, anyway!"

Auriol maniacally laughed as he covered himself with his dragonic wings, easily subduing the lightning that was about to attack him.

Then God said in response,

"Let my hand cleanse your vile spirit! I think I have tolerated you enough!"

"SACRED ARTS! THOUSAND HANDS PRISON!"

Straight away, numerous hands tried to entangle Auriol, making the entire temple glow in incandescent light.

"CURSED ARTS! APPARITIONS OF HELL'S CRY!"

Countering God's attack, Auriol unleashed his own power! He released all the souls he had gathered that he prepared for this very day.

Auriol must have resented God so much that he would go to such lengths in order to defeat God.

'What a tricky fellow!'

Using a diversion, while all the Angels were preoccupied with restraining Balgra Kazta outside the temple, he put together this scheme as a chance to fight against God...

Alone.

Just the two of them inside the empty hall.

Flashes of dark and light beamed in delight as both thunder and fire clashed! Wreaking havoc at the sacred land.

Perhaps in the heat of their battle, God must have sensed it.

He had lost his omnipotent view of the fate of the world. Just as I have mentioned earlier, it was the day when God's divine hands failed to grasp the entirety of the world's fate.

An unknown possibility was created by a random variable—Balgra Kazta.

Before Auriol had sneakily entered the temple, he had placed four barriers that shall restrict God's perception outside his domain.

This allowed Auriol to stop God from interfering in the battle outside.

"Where are you looking at? You should focus on me!"

Auriol continued taunting God alongside his relentless counterattacks.

Both of them were gasping and their power was all over the place as they fought.

The two Gods representing the extreme sides did not want to yield.

One who is kept in the dark and the other who enjoyed the light, two opposing sides with different goals to achieve.

Auriol clearly has several options, knowing full well what he wants, while God has lost any option but to fight.

Their battle sent shivers to all the space,

until...

*Crack!*

*Sizzle!!!*

God heard the sound of rocks breaking as it was hit with lightning...

"Tsk! The temple could not hold on any much longer! If this place is what you want, Auriol, would you let it be destroyed?!"

In his frustration, God asked helplessly.

"Hmph! Do you think I would care for such trivial matters! Prepare to relinquish your Authority!"

Grinning from ear to ear, that was Auriol's answer.

Then the two were alerted by a quake!

*RUMBLE!*

The so-called Sacred Land is abruptly split in half!

It created a huge black hole as stars collided, and a flurry of hurricanes gathered the debris altogether.

"AURIOOOL!!!! LOOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE DOOONE!!!!"

God could not contain his emotions, he dashed towards Auriol hastily, knowing that Auriol might be hiding traps beneath the ground.

When Auriol placed the barriers, not only did he restricted God's omnipotent view, the orbs he placed also severed his Godly prowess.

All this time, he has been fighting God without its full power!

"So long, True God! It looks like, you are nothing without your Angels!"

"WAHAHAHA!!!"

Auriol's laughter is similar to a dog barking and howling during the night.

As God quickly stepped into the perimeter where Auriol has set up his traps, at a stroke of his fingers, God is immobilized!

Hundreds of thousands of ghouls wrapped around God and they toppled him, binding him at the very same white marbles he created.

At the same time,

*Snikt!*

Sharp like a sword's blade!

Auriol unsheathed his own claws as he swiftly stabbed God's heart.

"I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU! AURIOL!!!!"

The sacred light which burned as bright as the sun that covered God gradually faded, and God's real figure was revealed!

A skin of gold, eyes as white as the sky, and shoulders that are as broad as the earth itself. His golden hair dangled at one of the ghouls but it only took a matter of time before it was plucked out.

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!"

Auriol's words had the hint of hatred and ridicule, even at God's waning luster did he not fail to scorn at him!

Maybe that scripture was true after all? Since Auriol remained true to his desires?

I wouldn't know...

But that's how the True God had disappeared.

A daunting concept to imagine, yet it happened, Millenium years ago.
