"oh, Evan!" The man exclaimed as he sees Evan alone on the bridge. Evan looks back, and his face lights up. "Sir!" He shouts and hugs the man in front. "Haha, How have you been, kid?" "Eh. I prefer not to say, I left my job, and now I don't know a way out.".
Old man- "Well, give this old man a chance to hear it all out. After all, I was your teacher. I might know what you can do."
Evan- "Why not. how about we go to a cafe?"
Teacher- "Sure. Let's go."
Gangtok has never been a place for people to love loud music and parties. Preferably it was a place to be calm and admire, the bliss of nature. The cafe had a simple yet intriguing look over it. The teacher and Evan took a seat and ordered their tea.
Teacher- "Are you reading something these days?"
Evan looks at the journal and looks back to his teacher.
Evan- "Oh, this? It's just a journal someone gave me. He said, I'll be needing it, and feels like I do."
Teacher- "I am sure he was a wise man."
The teacher says as he sips on his tea.
"What has been bothering you?" he asked, making Evan back to reality. "I left my job out of nowhere. The only reason I had was the feeling this is not what I want. But, I ignored asking myself what I want. Now, The voices keep asking me questions, and I am yet to answer them. Teacher, You have known me since I was 5. You must be knowing that How I was." Evan was now finally feeling impatient.
"Of course I know, kid. Your obsession with being perfect and better has been with you for years. And, now It's finally showing its side effects." the teacher said as he kept his teacup down. "Evan, Let me ask you. Who are you? not your name, age, or detail. But who you are, what you want, and why?" Evan remains quiet as his eyebrows furrowed.
"I'll give you some time. figure the answer to that question first, then I'll tell you what you can do.". The teacher had a bias for Evan, but he knew only Evan holds the key to get out of the phrase he is going through. Life often throws questions over you. And when you have those questions. You can't ignore them.
No matter how stressed you feel, how much you fall. Life has never been fair to anyone. So, Evan also knew running away won't do him good. He once again sat down and started reading the journal. The journal was the only emotional support he was so desperate for and had.

28th November,
'Do you believe in miracles?' I asked a colleague of mine. Who wanted to quit her job. Indeed, she had been going through a moment of frustration for a while. 'No.they are stupid.' She answered in the most pessimistic and cold voice. I lean back to the wall and sip my coffee.
She had been a person who was always independent. Not wanting any care was her personality trait, and being critical was her hobby. But when you get too critical, you forget about why we need to be critical and, that is to improve.
'Then, claire. How about you believe in yourself?' I said the most said line-of-all-times that was yet to be explained . 'okay. how?' I was not surprised by the reply. "Claire, you were capable of doing things you were not willing to perfect for a long time. Think about what will happen if you do what you like?.
"I am not aware of what I like." Claire once again tried to go to her sad comfort zone. but nope, I'll drag her out of that zone right now. "You like leadership and orating. I felt that whenever we worked together. And what was a leader do? They rise from their low to something they are second-guessing. Use your orating for the topics that are yet to be said. Build the life you want to. It's never late."
With that, I felt Claire finally exhaling a lot of pressure and taking in a lot of clarity. Did she leave her job? yes. Was it easy? no. did she regret it? no. People often neglect to find the reason why they feel burned out by taking a break. There is no wrong with taking a break, but you need to know why.
So to me, to Irenie from the future. If you feel burnout, Take a deep breath and think why. If you are doing what you want to. Then you would enjoy it, and if you are not, there is something wrong with the way you are doing it, or your goal isn't right. Good luck, Irenie of the future!

Evan jumped out of his bed and dance till the moment Sham came and told him to stop, or the floor might break. He was happier to know her name than to know what he needs to do next.
With that, Evan slept with a smile on his face. He was happy to know what his next steps need to be while knowing the name of the girl name, 'Irenie.' whose thoughts are enough to change his life.
