He grinned at her false bravado, her green eyes flickered and the golden shades of it were more intense, he saw determination, which he could use to his advantage.

"Unless you wish to buy it back, it's worth over a million dollars"

Keira hesitated, where was she going to find a million dollars? With Sam's college fund and their welfare, those were out of the question. Their trust fund obtained from their deceased parents had been kept for emergencies only, it wasn't even close to half a million.

His grey eyes mocked her with a sardonic smile that left her stomach in knots. This was the most inconvenient time to think about how overpowering his steely eyes were or the fact that he was a very gorgeous and fascinating specimen.

"I have a proposal for you, that could turn this around."

 She left the festive room as he directed her and shook her head when he stood outside at the lot. 


He groaned when she ran to his arms misty-eyed.


"This must be a joke," He said holding on to her with her feet off the floor and he scanned the lot for a charging mutt or an interruption but he didn't seem to find any, he gazed at her bright green eyes filled with delight.


She reached up to kiss him pleading for him to open up and he clutched her hair inching closer for another, she blushed lowering her head at the hungry look in his eyes, and giggled.


"I must be stuck in a trance and if I'm not, I think I still have the flu in my system and you just made a big mistake"


Logan had a playful look on his face "Yes what?" She had pink patches on her face reevaluating that night at the car when he whispered her name.


"Remember what you asked me in the car?"


He groaned a little uneasy about the night "Piss off?" She laughed.


"Yes," He gasped when her arms fastened to him even tighter than Amy would, 


"And what about the tabloids? What if someone's taking pictures now?"


"I only give one hoot" She felt his arm tighten around her.


"That's good enough for me. Merry Christmas"


Keira gazed at the document and a pen he held out.


He sighed "I can't take any risks, you just sign it and we'll be fine"


 He didn't need an attorney to know that he had to take precautions as uneasy as it seemed, she just had to guarantee it.


  Her eyes moved over the heading and she took the pen and signed with a lump in her throat. 


He flipped the document "Thanks, you keep this copy"


Her eyes tear up "Are you sure you want to do this?"


"The agreement's in perpetuity so don't plan on walking away from me" 


"Hey, you two! Get out of the cold, are you trying to put yourselves in the hospital?"


 Finn growled and softened when Logan's arm came around her gently and Keira hugged his arm with a bright smile and glistening eyes, Finn shook his head.


He gave a low deep chuckle when she embraced him, emotional.


"When's the wedding? You're going to tell me everything or else I'll shove a handgun down his throat"


"Uncle Finn, stop, you're scaring him," She said as he led her inside to share the good news. 


Logan exhaled fighting not to snatch her for a dance "I'm not scared"


"Me neither" Keira agreed with a teasing smile.


Finn passed him a stern look and his heart started to beat fast betraying his bravado "You will be"


 The rest of them came clustering around him and teased him pushing his head and dropping a crown of hollies on him. 


   Keira was receiving a different treatment with a rose garland on her hair, she flinched when Maddie squeezed her in a tight hug.
