He grinned at her false bravado, her green eyes flickered and the golden shades of it were more intense, he saw determination, which he could use to his advantage.

"Unless you wish to buy it back, it's worth over a million dollars"

Keira hesitated, where was she going to find a million dollars? With Sam's college fund and their welfare, those were out of the question. Their trust fund obtained from their deceased parents had been kept for emergencies only, it wasn't even close to half a million.

His grey eyes mocked her with a sardonic smile that left her stomach in knots. This was the most inconvenient time to think about how overpowering his steely eyes were or the fact that he was a very gorgeous and fascinating specimen.

"I have a proposal for you, that could turn this around."

  All her friends were here and her heart swelled with love and joy, she was speechless and overwhelmed. He put the store back in shape, even better. She wiped her eyes at the alert from the bank.


"Logan said all that merchandise couldn't go to waste, so I sold them and that is the revenue" Melissa confessed scratching her head "That was the best I could do to make up for the mess."


"You knew" Amy accused with a big smile and Melissa tilted her head and shrugged.


 It felt more like a birthday bash than a grand reopening, she sniffed and held the globe. Sam smiled passing her a Manila envelope and Keira gave her a wry smile.


"You know me" She flipped the envelope open and found a thousand-dollar cheque.


"No, it's my savings and all the money I owe you"


Sam looked a little pained but gave back the money with interest and pushed it back when Keira returned it. 


"Fine. This is the nicest thing anyone's ever done for me"


  They closed early at 6 pm and they went back home to let loose and have a small party. Keira looked around at the crew dancing and singing along to Jingle Bell Rock and she clutched her knees.


There was no sign of him and Harry came to recline with her and his head on her lap while the dancing was going on and Zoe passed Seamus a nervous smile when he offered her a hand, he usually never left his cane.


 She laughed when he stepped out swaying and busting old-timey moves to which Zoe followed, Sam dropped her drink at the sight of him. 


She lit up when he sat beside her giving Harry a rub on the head. His blue eyes smiled.


She leaned on his shoulder tired out and watched Sam cough up egg nog, she was going back to school early to drop a few things, the house would be empty.


"Don't tell Jennifer but I just applied to work here, and I took the last rib at the table and...I have a gift for you"


He pulled out a tablet and gave it to her, the loading stopped when it connected and she saw him squinting his eyes with a dimpled cheek waving.


She suppressed a giggle and Harry wiggled closer while Ben left to give them some privacy...partially. 


"Will you come over here before I freeze to death?"


"I thought you were in San Diego?" She said getting up.


"My flight got delayed and some air marshal nabbed me on the way, so I'm here now" 


  He looked around and the snow was falling on his woolen hat and sweater. Her heart thumped, he looked even more gorgeous on the screen, yearning to see him again.


She giggled when Harry understood that "I won't count on that"
