Amanda.
"This is going to be awkward as hell." She muttered, then ran her hand through her hair and sat up straight.
How was she going to face him?
She was sitting outside Ansel's hospital room, Her hands now resting on her knees.
The familiar scent of his perfume hit her nose and she looked up.
There he was.
Looking as handsome as humanly possible. She stood up and he looked at her.
"Amy." He smiled.
"J-jung."
He stepped forward and touched her arm.
She blushed and looked down.
"How have you been?" He asked.
"I'm... I've been g-good."
"That I know you would have been," He smiled.
"How are you?" She asked, in a small voice.
"I'm fine, thanks. Is Ansel inside?"
She nodded, he removed his hands from her arm and moved past her towards the room.
She sat back down, trying to calm herself.
She was nervous as hell.
"Was that Jung?" Marie sat down beside her and asked.
Amy nodded.
"Did you both talk?" She asked again.
"Yeah, we did."
"It was the first time you both talked after the b-, I mean after that night?"
"Yes, it was the first time we talked after the breakup."
"Are you okay?" Marie asked.
"Yes. Why wouldn't I be?"
"So, When are we flying back?" Marie tried to change the subject.
"I'll need some days with Ansel, You and Wren can go back," She replied.
"And leave you? Sorry, no way." Marie shook her head.
"Hey, come on! Ansel would be here with me and Seth is here too, I guess Jung'll be here too. I'm not sure but I think that he'll be here."
"Amy, are you sure?"
"Of course, I'm damn sure. I'll be alright. Besides, Carlos knows I'm here."
"Well, I'll see if Wren agrees or not."
Amy simply nodded and Marie got up.
A few moments later, Jung came outside. Amanda stood up.
"He'll be in rehab for a month." He told her, She nodded.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Are you?"
"I'm good."
"I know I saw your pictures." She blurted out.
Now, he'll know I've been stalking him.
Way to go Amanda.
"What pictures?"
"I meant picture, The one with Hannah."
Someone kill me, Please.
"Oh, yeah. That." He looked down at his shoes.
"Um. Yes."
"We just went out for a couple of drinks and she wanted to take a picture and-," He looked nervous.
"You don't have to explain anything to me, Jung."
"Oh, yeah. Sorry."
She stayed silent.
"So, you and Ansel?" He asked.
She looked down and nodded.
"You sure did take your time." She looked up at him, He had a soft smile on his face.
"I guess I did."
"I'm glad that you're happy now."
"I hope you find your happiness too,"
"I guess I'd like some more time before I find anyone,"
"I'm sure you will find someone." She placed her hand on his upper arm.
He smiled.
"Can we be friends? Like, can we talk-,"
"Yes, we can." She didn't let him finish his sentence.
He grinned.
"Thank you."
She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear and looked down again.
"I missed talking to you." He said suddenly.
She looked up.
"I missed talking to you too." She admitted.
He placed his arms on her shoulders and pulled her towards him.
She hesitated.
"I just want to hug you." He said.
She nodded and wrapped her arms around his waist and he enveloped her into a warm hug.
He was wearing that perfume.
The perfume she gifted him on his birthday.
After a while, they pulled away.
"I'll get going now, I need to see what I have to do."
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know, I can't stay here permanently, But I'll be here till next week."
"Oh. Okay."
"I'm not leaving him alone. I'll be here after a week. I'll come to see him of course, and be there when he comes out of the rehab."
"Oh okay, well then. See you." He smiled and waved.
She waved back, He turned and started walking away from her.
She turned and opened the door of Ansel's hospital room.
"Hey," She said. He opened his eyes and looked at her.
"Hi."
He had dark circles under his eyes, and his eyes were bloodshot.
"How are you?" She sat down beside him on the bed and asked.
"Fine." He replied, taking her hand in his.
"You'll be out of here tomorrow and then-,
"I know." He didn't let her finish her sentence.
"Okay, well. Let's talk,"
"Okay, talk." He mumbled.
"Why are you so grumpy?" She demanded.
"I'm sleepy."
"Okay, then I'll just leave." She tried to get up but he tightened his grip on her hand.
"You're not going anywhere, I'm not letting you go." He whispered and closed his eyes.
She smiled and leaned down to kiss him.
"Don't kiss me, please. My breath stinks." Just as she was going to kiss him he suddenly opened his mouth.
"God, Ansel! Argh. Now, I'm never going to kiss you." She sat up straight and turned her face towards the wall.
He chuckled.
"You'll be all over me in five minutes when I'll take my shirt off."
"What? Ansel, We can't!" She looked at him and exclaimed.
"For a shower, I need a shower."
She blushed and looked away.
Embarrassing.
"But that day will come soon, don't worry." He said. and she smiled to herself.
"Keep on dreaming."
"I know you'll want me, Right?" He wanted to know.
"After you come out of the rehab." She replied.
"I hate you." He mumbled.
"I know you love me." She grinned.
"I do love you."
"I hate you more." She replied and got up.
It was fun teasing him.
He had always done that to her and now it was her turn.
Evil laugh.
"I'll be back." She said and opened the door.
"NOT FAIR!" He shouted just as she closed the door behind her. She shook her head and smiled.
They were never going to change, She knew that. This was one of the many reasons why they loved each other so dearly.
