Healing.

Amanda.

"Are you okay?" She placed her hand over his and asked.

"I'm good, I feel better." He replied.

"Just one more week and you'll be out of here,"

"Mom and Dad came the other day, They had started calling Seth to ask about me and he had to tell them,"

"Were they angry?" She asked.

"Yes, they were. But then they cooled down."

He was looking better now, His dark circles were gone. And he looked healthier.

He kept squeezing her hand.

"Just, take me with you. I don't wanna stay here any longer," He whispered.

"Ansel, I told you. It's just a week, then I promise I'll be here to pick you up, we'll have the best time of our lives and then we'll finish our colleges and be together,"

"Forever." He mumbled.

"What?"

"We'll be together forever,"

"Yeah, yeah. Forever."

"You should leave, It would be dark soon. How are you supposed to get to college?"

"I'll be there tomorrow right now I'm staying at a nearby hotel."

"Oh, well. Okay."

"What happened?" She asked at the sudden change in his mood.

"Nothing."

"Ansel, why are you behaving strangely all of a sudden?" She demanded.

"It's nothing, Amanda."

"Oh, so now you are taking my full name. Wow, What the hell happened?"

"Is Jung here too?" He asked, looking down.

"Why would Jung be here?"

"Because he's my brother and he comes here often,"

"So?" She didn't know where was this conversation going.

"So you are talking to him again, Right?"

"Yes, I am."

"I forbid it. You're not going to call him or text him. Ever."

Amanda snatched her hand away from his grip and stood up.

"Are you really being that guy?"

"What?"

"You don't get to do that, Ansel. You don't! I'll talk to Jung whenever I want,"

"It's me or him."

"What the actual fuck, Ansel?"

"It's me or him." He looked up at her.

"I'm going, I'll see you in a week. I hope you come back to your senses by then. Goodbye."

"Amanda, You're not leaving!"

"Watch me." She raised an eyebrow, turned, and sauntered off.

Ansel.

He signed and shook his head. All he wanted was for her to stop talking to Jung over texts, like what if they decide to get back together?

As if they'd do that, but he couldn't take any risks.

Why was he doubting the girl he loved. And his brother.

Um, because they dated for a year in the past.

Why wouldn't she listen to me?

Is he more important to her?

I guess he is. He had been nothing but the best boyfriend ever and I...

I've been nothing but a massive pain in the ass.

He thought sadly.

But if she had told him she loves him, then that is the truth. Amanda never lies about her feeling.

Well, except that one time.

He got up and stretched. Then turned and walked away.

He needed to organize his thoughts.

Amanda.

She brushed her hair and painted her lips with light pink lipstick.

"I'm ready, let's go." She turned and faced him. He stood up.

"You look beau-, nice."

"Thanks." He took a step towards her and placed his hand on her upper arm.

"What?" She asked.

He didn't answer but kept staring at her.

"It hurts to touch you when I know I can't kiss you,"

"Jung-,"

"It hurts to look at you when I know you'll never be mine,"

"Jung, please wha-,"

"It hurts to be near you when I know people will never take our names together like they used to,"

A tear escaped from his left eye and she sucked in her breath.

"It feels so wrong when I touch you because I know you belong to my brother now. But, sometimes I cannot help myself...,"

Tears escaped from her eyes and she covered her face with her hands.

He wrapped his arms around her and let her cry for some time.

After a while, they pulled away.

She took a deep breath.

"Let's go." She said. Her voice was flat

He nodded and opened the door. She walked towards the door and left. He stood there for a while, then followed her out.

He was standing in front of the main door, waiting for them.

He smiled and waved when he saw her.

She raised an eyebrow, reminding him she was still angry with him.

"Hi." He tucked his hands in his jean pockets and took a step towards her. She stopped in front of him and crossed her arms.

"Ready?" She asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be," He winked at her and leaned in for a kiss.

"Uhuh, not here." She raised her eyebrows, but he didn't stop and kissed her forehead, instead.

"Ansel."

"Amanda."

"Hi." Jung cleared his throat and Ansel looked at him.

"Hey! What's up?" Jung came forward and hugged him.

"It's good to see you healthy again,"

"I still managed to keep my abs," They pulled away and Ansel informed Amanda.

"Why are you telling me that?" She demanded.

"Because I know you love them,"

God, I swear this man is going to get killed one day. By me.

She thought.

Jung cleared his throat again.

"I'll wait in the car,"

"No, you don't have to. Amy and I will spend the day together."

"Well, okay. I'm leaving tomorrow. So I'll see you before my flight." He waved, turned, and started walking towards the car he had rented for the day.

"What are you doing?" Amanda turned towards Ansel and demanded.

"I want to spend some time with you before you leave,"

"But I'm still angry,"

"No, you are not. Now come on," He held out his hand, She rolled her eyes but gave him her hand.

"Good, Let's go."

"But where are we going?" She asked as they started walking.

"Somewhere, where nobody can find us,"

"That's a little creepy coming from you,"

"Huh"

"Yeah, you can just take me somewhere and kill me and no one would know."

"I would never do that," He assured her.

"Who knows." She shrugged.

He shook his head but decided to ignore her for a while.
