To Northmarch

Aliana watched Lillestad fade away into the thickets of trees that surrounded the road. Lucien had her on his lap and was kissing her neck and shoulders softly.

She was surprised he wanted to ride in the carriage but then realized his intentions, usually, men despised riding in carriages unless a woman was present. Now she understood why he didn't want to ride his horse, she thought back to the day at the hot springs with Lord Samuel when they rode in the carriage together.

Lucien bit her neck a little harder than he had before, which caused Aliana to gasp loudly. Aliana's eyes snapped off the road and onto Lucien's actions.

"That was a little hard," she whispered into his ear. Aliana grabbed his face and kissed his lips gently. Lucien growled softly and shifted her so she was facing him on his lap.
