Lucien looked on at Aliana eating with a stormy expression on her face. He was slightly concerned about his princess but was also amused that she got drunk with her ladies, who both appeared sober.
Aliana felt Lucien's eyes on her and scowled deeper, she didn't like being seen like this. She ate quickly and wanted to be free of everyone's stares. Aliana knew that they were waiting for her to get angry.
"If you all don't stop staring at me I really am going to be angry," Aliana growled.
"You know we only care, Princess," Sir Arthurus said gently. "We just want you to be safe and make sure to drink when you have food in your belly." The knight that almost never spoke but always had her back when she needed him most, Aliana felt tears prick the corner of her eyes threatening to fall.
Sir Arthurus was secretly Aliana's favorite knight and she loved his quiet but calm presence. "I know, but still quit with the staring," Aliana whispered.
