Sickness and Traveling

By the time Lucien and Aliana got back to camp, she was shivering and hot to the touch. Lucien could feel the heat coming off of her in waves and grew worried as they reached her tent. Her knights were waiting for them in front of the entrance with worry written all over their faces.

"Princess, why on earth are you soaking wet?" Sir Galien asked, his brows furrowing together.

"I wanted to cool off but now I think I'm coming down with something," Aliana said with chattering teeth.

"You need to rest right away," Sir Arthurus said worriedly. "We still have a few days left until we are in Northmarch."

"I know, goodnight gentlemen," Aliana said dismissively. "Lucien, come help me to my bed, please."

Lucien nodded and tightened his grip on her shoulders as they went into the massive tent. Edith and Janie were waiting for their princess and weren't surprised to see Lucien with her.

"Can you get Aliana something warm to wear to bed, please," Lucien asked Edith politely.
