As dinner wrapped up, guests started leaving the main hall, seeking the comfort of smaller rooms with roaring fires. Aliana couldn't wait to go to bed and snuggle up in the warm furs in front of the fireplace in her room.  She gulped down the rest of her fire berry wine and felt it warm up her throat and chest as she drank it.


"Gentlemen, I'm retiring to my room, so I bid you all goodnight," Aliana said as she stood up, the men and Aliana's ladies stood up with her out of respect. Aliana's knights and ladies remained standing as well as Grand Prince Rasmus.


"Would you allow me to escort you to your room, Princess?" Prince Rasmus asked.


"Of course," Aliana replied. The grand prince held out his arm and Aliana took it begrudgingly, she looked at her three suitors and smiled sweetly at them as Prince Rasmus whisked her out of the main hall.
