Tristan Steals the Show (Cont.)

As Aliana took in the luscious plants around her, Tristan poured them both a glass of wine and sat lazily on one of the couches. "This place is amazing," Aliana marveled. "In the dead of winter, so many plants are growing beautifully."

She sat down next to Tristan and he handed her a glass of wine. "So tell about why you left early, I thought the Baron would have stolen your heart with hunting," he asked while taking a sip of his wine.

"I do love hunting," Aliana said amusedly. "I don't love men who are too terrified to kiss me."

Tristan's eyes widened and he let out a low chuckle. "He wouldn't kiss you?"

"He did, but it was hardly enjoyable."

Tristan smirked and shook his head. "That's just sad."

"Hence, why I left early," Aliana giggled.

"Enough about that coward, tell me about yourself, Princess," Tristan said.

"What do you want to know?" Aliana asked.

"Hmm, what quality do you think every man should possess?"
