Chapter 135: It was one time

Groaning at the loud noise, Addison pushed on her temples and wished it would quit. She wasn't even sure what was making the awful racket, but it was the world's worst noise. She had learned her lesson after the night before. She was never drinking again. Ever.

"Hey girl!"

"Don't yell!" Addison said waving her arms at Shelly as she took a seat next to her in the student union.

"You look like crap," Shelly told her, thankfully in a much lower voice.

Addison gave her a look that if it would, it'd kill. "Golly, thanks. You're in deep crap, by the way."

"Me?" she asked with wide eyes. "What'd I do?"

"You left me!" she told her raising her voice. "You knew I'd been drinking, and you left me with a guy I didn't know without talking to me first."

"Declan? He wouldn't hurt a fly. Besides, I sent you a text."

"A text that I didn't get until after you left. Did you even know that I needed you to come get me?"
