Jessie released a heavy sigh after the two-hour-long meeting she'd had with the entire staff. One employee by the name of Brandon Martin was the most difficult and sent up a huge red flag. His resentment caused her to ask more questions to find out why it bothered him so much. His response sounded more like a whiny teenager who didn't like being interrogated by a mother-figure. He obviously suffered from mommy issues.


She'd have Detective Vega do a background check on this Martin guy and check his financials to ensure his checking and savings accounts weren't showing large deposits of money. 


Stepping into the elevator, she listened to the soft whoosh of the doors closing and rode up to the top floor, just enough time to catch her breath.
