Chapter 9: A Dirty Lie

After a pause, he said word by word, "Zoe and I? Do you think Zoe can be used as an excuse? I did have a relationship with her, but that was in the past. What about you and Edmonds? Aria, are you trying to cover up the fact that you have cuckolded me with such a dirty lie? It seems that I have overestimated your intelligence!"

Grayson's face was gloomy and there were flames of anger in his eyes. He gripped her chin tightly like he was to crush her.

Lie?

He said she lied?

The last thing Aria would do in her life was to lie, and she had never lied, except that time when he asked her if she wanted to divorce because of Lucas.

She didn't understand what was going on with herself. She was completely stunned by Grayson's aggressive offensive.

When Aria was absent-minded, Grayson gave a cold snort and let go of her chin. His eyes were full of obvious disgust.

The other hand that grabbed Aria also let go and even his body that clung to her retreated.
