What Really Happened?

Morning.

Putri woke up too early. Even she couldn't sleep well. Lastri, who noticed Putri's presence at the dining room, was a little surprised.

"Miss Putri? It's very early in the morning, are you hungry? I'm just about to prepare food." Said Lastri, who was carrying a pile of things.

"It's okay, I'm not too hungry," Putri answered weakly and put the cellphone beside her.

Her face was still full of hope and anxiety. No one replied to her chat.

"What did you bring, Lastri?" Putri asked, and see the things Lastri brought,

"Oh? this is..? This is a painting." Lastri suddenly answered in a low voice.

Putri approached Lastri and took a painting that looked damaged.

"How come it was so badly damaged? The canvas and the frame are broken." Putri asked and returned the painting to Lastri's hands.

"I don't understand why it's broken? Mr. Bambang just told me to throw it away," Lastri answered doubtfully. Putri did not ask much and sat back at her dining table.

For a long time, Putri was at the dining table. There was no visible presence of her father and Roy in the dining room.

The atmosphere was so quiet, and Putri paid attention to her surroundings. Usually, the room is full of her older brothers. Usually, there is her mother, who is always busy preparing her father's work and breakfast.

Putri also crossed her arms on the dining table and put her head between her arms.

Putri took a deep breath, trying to hold back her tears from coming out.

Roy surprised her again and appeared right beside Putri. Immediately Putri raised her head.

Roy already looks neat in his work clothes. Roy holds Putri's head and makes Putri's hair a mess.

"Do you want to sleep at the dinner table, Putri?" Roy said and mocking his sister.

"Roy!!" Putri said and immediately hugged her brother tightly.

"Why are you suddenly hugging me, Putri? Can't you see my clothes are so neat?" Roy asked in surprise.

Putri loosened her arms. "Roy, what's really going on? I'm so confused? Raja, Rafa, Rian, and Wira haven't been home since last night and mom? Hk... hk... is she fine?." Putri wiped her tears that had already come out.

"My silly little sister! What are you thinking? They all are fine, and also with mom. So don't think about scary things." Roy answered softly.

"Where is Renata?" Putri asked again,

"Oh, Renata? She had a family business. Yesterday afternoon, so she had to go back to Borneo for a week." Roy looked back at Putri with a slight bow.

"About last night, you don't need to tell Renata, ok?" said Roy, who was now holding Putri's shoulder.

Putri looked at her brother and nodded quickly. "Father is already in the car, and I have to go to work immediately. You have to have breakfast alone, and remember to take care of your health. Don't miss your school today? I

think enough with your off one day yesterday." Roy advises his sister.

Roy left and leaving Putri alone in the dining room. Putri couldn't finish her breakfast. There was an uncomfortable feeling that made her unable to swallow her food.

She decided to wait for Andy at the entrance of the house, sitting on the steps while still watching her cellphone screen.

Deden, the gardener ma who watched him, occasionally reprimanded Putri with a smile. But still couldn't calm her feelings.

Not long ago, Andy appeared. As usual with the joy and cheerfulness, he had shown towards Putri.

"Morning, Putri. are you waiting for me at the front?" Asked Andy, who looked surprised to see his friend's reaction is too flat.

"Morning, Andy, let's we go to school," Putri said without answering her friend's question.

Along the way, Andy kept asking what happened to his friend. But Putri prefers to stay silent the whole way to school.

When they arrived at school. Andy did not give up and continued to ask why Putri was more silent than before. Putri is already overwhelmed with Andy, who keeps asking. Finally told him about last night's quarrel.

"Well... Now you know-how is the situation at my house." Putri explained sadly while walking down the school corridor.

Andy also embraced his friend, "Don't be sad. Today at school, we can meet with Wira. We can ask him, what's going on with the situation of your parents," Andy replied and trying to calm his friend.

Putri only replied with a small smile and was still thinking about how to meet Wira? and wondering if Wira would tell her.

"Putri?" Andy said, interrupting Putri's daydream,

"Yes, what?" asked Putri.

"I just wanted to let you know that Mega is actually in the same class as me." Andy seemed hesitant to give Mega information to Putri.

Putri look surprised, but immediately she rearranged her face to look normal.

"Well, that's fine." Said Putri, who was confused by her answer.

"I know about the incident between you and Mega. You don't need to tell me because I already know everything about what happened last Friday. But because I'm your friend, I won't believe what other people say it." Andy explained, and this time his steps stopped, so did Putri.

"Thanks, Andy," Putri answered shyly because her friend already knew the problem.

"But I want you not to act stupid to admit someone else's fault," Andy replied, and Putri turned her face away.

The bell rang, Andy and Putri could not chat much. They decided to return to their classes. During class time, Putri couldn't concentrate. She thought too much about his family.

Meet with Wira? Is it possible? Even though the chat has not been answered until now.

Break time began, Putri couldn't think of anything else but to think about meeting her brother. She couldn't wait long. Even during break time, she decided to look for Wira and managed to find him in the school cafeteria.

Putri was a little surprised to see Mega, who was with Wira. They looked cool chatting. Even barely noticing Putri's presence, Mega glanced at Putri and making Wira aware of her presence.

"Wira?" said Putri loudly.

Some of the students sitting around the cafeteria area began to pay attention to them.

"What's the matter, Putri?" Wira said flatly.

"I think I should go first, Wira. It seems you two need some space to talk," said Mega and got up from her seat and showed an uncomfortable expression,

"No, it's okay. You can stay here." Wira holds Mega's hand tightly and makes Mega sit back down.

"Wira? I send a text to you from last night. Why didn't you reply to it? Raja, Rafa, Rian do the same thing! Why are you all so difficult to reply to my message?" Putri was annoyed and started sitting next to Wira, not paying attention to Mega at all.

Wira did not answer Putri's question. His eyes stared at Mega in confusion. Wira doubts whether he needs to answer and explain to his sister in front of Mega.

"It seems like yesterday we were too busy, and so we couldn't answer your chats," Wira said flatly, but Putri was sure that Wira was lying, seen from the look on his face.

"Wira, don't lie to me," Putri said louder, while Wira still tried to act normal by taking a glass and drinking it.

"Don't you know Mom left the house last night?" Putri's voice trembled. This time she was the one trying to hold her emotions.

Wira heard Putri's words immediately choked and looked at her in disbelief. Before Wira could speak, a student approached Wira, interrupting their conversation.

"Wira! We've been looking for you." Said the student, then realized that Wira was not alone.

"Gio? Why?" Wira asked confusedly. "Mr. Rahmat is looking for you. I think he wants to ask about the outbound event for next week." Gio explained and started to feel uneasy with Putri's sharp gaze on him.

Wira got up from his seat, "After school, I'll wait for you at the exit school gate." Wira said briefly to Putri,

"Mega, is that okay if I left you?" Wira asked Mega, who replied with a smile.

"Fine, you don't need to worry," Mega replied.

Only Putri and Mega are at the same table. Their gazes looked at each other. But not a single word came out of their mouths. Mega exposed her long hair and looking at Putri with a strange smile.

"At first, I thought there would be resistance from you, Putri," said Mega started the conversation.

"You mean?" asked Putri and feeling weird.

Mega laughed lightly at Putri's question.

"Do you realize that now you have made me a playing victim?" Said Mega with a flat face.

"Isn't that what you want? I've tried to apologize from the start. But the truth is, you're the one who wanted this, right?" Putri said and defended herself.

"Sorry? Why am I so weird to hear that? Especially when it comes out of the mouth of a Putri. Where is the girl who used to be arrogant, selfish, and acts as she pleases?" Mega asked in a low voice, but Putri could still hear every word Mega said to her.

"I hope you can forgive me, Mega. I will never hate you for whatever you did to me. I hope that you can forgive me," said Putri seriously. And Mega looked at Putri in disbelief.

"I won't be able to believe it right away, Put," Mega answered with a curt expression.

"I know. I hope you and Wira can have a better relationship." Putri replied, and Mega seemed to dislike her even more.

"Putri, is there a problem?" Andi suddenly appeared, surprising the two of them who were in the cold war. "

No, Andy." Putri replied with a smile.

Mega looked at Andi angrily, then immediately stood up and left Putri and Andi.

"Is there something wrong with me?" Andi asked, surprised to see Mega who had disappeared.

"Why did she leave right away?" Andi asked again. Putri did not answer Andi's question. Putri also chose to get up from her seat.

"Forget about her. Uhmm..., Wira and I will meet after school." Putri held her chin and while thinking.

"Then? Is there something wrong if you meet your brother?" Andi asked again,

"There's nothing wrong, but... Can you accompany me?" Putri said seriously, and Andi certainly couldn't refuse his friend's invitation.

The bell for recess rang, Andi didn't have much chance to talk to Putri. And they can't wait to meet Wira after school.

Class hours seemed very long. Putri really couldn't concentrate on biology at that time.

Even her Biology teacher – Mrs. Rani, even reprimanded her. Because the look in the eyes of Putri was more daydreaming.

Until the doorbell finally rang, Putri hurriedly headed out of the classroom. She walked so fast that she bumped into several students who have left the class.
