Bella POV

Elephant Rocks

Wole looked in  surprise at the rocks that Flanagan had dumped on the ground.

"What is this?" he asked in surprise. Iris and Rob also flanked around him, all fighting forgotten. 

"The difference between winning and losing the war that's coming," declared Flanagan. 

We all looked at him, mouths agape. What was he talking about?

"Shut your mutterings, Flanagan," said Wole, a warning tone in his eyes. 

Flanagan shrugged and said, "No point beating about the bush my friend. With The Blight gone, the White Sage has little use for Irismus and he isn't going to stop till the entire Alvaran Kingdom bends their knee at him."

Wole chose not to answer these comments and bent down to inspect the rocks. 

"Calame!" he exclaimed sudden, fingering the red veins in the rocks.
