The Invasion

Days and months pass but still yet Mr Tumbu hasn't done anything concerning the sourcing of answer to their present predicament and it has become a matter of concern to his wife, she often wonder the reason for her husband been so unconcerned about their son's situation of recent. She decided to go and confirm from her husband (she entered were her husband was sited taking some alcoholic drink)

Mrs Abagi: my husband

Mr Tumbu: yes woman what is it?

Mrs Abagi: you assured me that you were going to find out what really happened to our son and possibly the cure but it has been months an you haven't done anything, what's happening,?

Mr Tumbu: woman, that's because I have loose intereste in that very case you are talking about

Mrs Abagi: what did you just say? You have loose intereste in what?

Mrs Abagi: (raise her voice) you are joking, how can you possibly say you are no longer interested in your son's case, you must be dreaming.

Mr Tumbu: (also raises his voice) am not dreaming, I have said my own and that is final.

Mrs Abagi: look let me tell you, you better go out there and bring my son back or else there will be no peace in this house

Mr Tumbu: said who? Woman see I have tolorated you enough in this house and come to think of it were you not here when he was misbehaving what did you do? Now you want to stress me! (As they were arguing the daughter Shidoo came out to confirm what was happening)

Shidoo: papa what happened? I heard your voice from my room

Mr Tumbu: ask your mother, I was sited here before she brought her useless troubles

Shidoo: mama what really happened?

Mrs Abagi: your father has refused to find out the reason for our son's wayward behaviors and his where about

Mr Tumbu: see you better not disturb me with such useless again, I have said my own

Shidoo: but papa, mama is telling you the right thing to do, how come you are so angry with her?

Mr Tumbu: see if you open your mouth here now, I will slap the hell out of you now, are you mad?

Mrs Abagi: you will do no such thing, all you know those days to drink drink and drink

Shidoo: mama please stop exchanging words with him, come let's go inside ( Shidoo goes inside with her mother as she pull her by the hand)

It was sunny afternoon a good atmosphere for the people of Tarka and everyone were happily carrying out their chores, drinking bars were open, food sealers where cooking and doing sales but on the contrary it was the same day and date the black pythons set to invade the people of Tarka

They drove in with their motor and as they reached the market they parked to observe before carrying out their actions. Major came down from the car with his pistol but wannune stayed back in the car and after they have seen that there were no security around they swing into action.

Wannune now came out of the car and joined major and the others, they went shop by shop and house by house and robbed them of their money. With heavy gun shot in the air people got frightened and ran away with their life but the unfortunate ones still fall victim. In their cause of action two men were gun down as they bravely stood up to fight the invaded criminals.

Wannune's face was beholden by the people of Tarka and they need not to wonder so much for who is behind the actions because he was already known with the act, but it still amazed them as he still has the guts to invade the same community were he was banished. The next day the elders had gather to tackle the situation on their decks

(They have gathered but their leader is not here yet so they are chatting among themselves, just then entered their leader)

Leader: my fellow elders I greet you all, am late so I will like us to straight to what we are here for

Mr yongu: leader our eyes have seen our ears, the unbelievable has happened

Elder Eje: the son of Mr Tumbu the boy which we banished two years ago invaded our community yesterday with guns and robbed our people off there money and other several items

Alike: and not just that, they gun down two of our healthy me and injured others. We must do something

Leader: this is a serious case and must be handled appropriately so I will have to table it at the king council meeting next week but before then this boy's case was also at the police station several times so I am going there tomorrow to add this very case to his file and he will be confirm wanted

Mr yongu: leader I think that's a long process, I apparently thought we should chase wannune's family also away from this community

Leader: that's not our decision to make but the king's own so I urge you all to stay calm, we settle this amicably and can now go back to our various houses. Elder Eje is it not so?

Elder Eje: perfectly said leader and it's a good decision

Alike: we have heard you leader we will do just that

Mr yongu: we bet to take our leave (they all left the meeting ground to their various houses)

Later that day the women's meeting of Tarka also matched to the community leader to demand for quick action to be taken on wannune and his gang, they were filled with bitter hearts and minds as they sang all the way to the leader's house

Women's leader: leader we the women are angry our heart are filled with pains, our children were killed and we demand a quick action on those who killed them

All women: (shouted) yes

Leader: I have heard you and I want to assure you that we the elders of this community has finalize on how to go about this incident and am also sorry for your lost but you still have to be patient as we tackle this case. Thank you all

All women: leader may you live long ( the all went home relieved as the leader promise to handle the situation)
