Break to submit.

Camry let him drag her, she followed him lazily and could sense his extreme anger towards her. She scoffed coldly. This boss of hers was too overbearing, she only let him be because he let her work with him.

"You—"

Camry turned, she realized she was facing the man and they were standing in the kitchen. She raised a brow slightly, her face was cold and expressionless.

"This, can you see?" He pointed at the note she had seen previously. "Even if you are dumb and cannot make a simple cup of coffee, here is the recipe to make one"

"Oh" Camry muttered and let out a small chuckle that lacked humor.

Mr. Hogan pinched her wrist and glared at her. Was she mocking him just now?

"Do you take me for a joke?" Mr. Hogan questioned angrily.

"Let go," Camry said in a clear and cold voice. Instead of responding, the man only tightened his grip on her. She tilted her head slightly and raised a brow. Seeing that he was not yielding but was drilling holes into her skull with his piercing gaze.

"You, fine" she laughed.

Mr. Hogan became angrily seeing that she can not be controlled. He narrowed his eyes slightly and watched her. He saw that her face remained cold and expressionless as if she did not care that he could break her wrist If he held it any longer, he let go of her. It would only be foolish of him to get any angrier at her.

"Do you see this?" His cold voice rang out.

"I said that before" she responded expressionlessly. She raised her hand and rolled her jacket. She saw that the fair skin on her wrist was slightly bruised, she frowned. She covered her wrist and looked into his eyes with a dark expression.

"You are my employee and you only must listen to me" he asserted with superiority. His eyes trailed to her wrist and he looked away coldly. Was she trying to show him how weak she was?

"No" Camry suddenly said.

"You—" he started but was interrupted.

"I will only say this once, listen carefully... Make your coffee yourself!" Camry uttered coldly.

Mr. Hogan watched her silently, it was as though he found it difficult to understand what she said to him. Camry watched his dumbstruck expression, she dug her finger into her ear and chuckled. Her mood was better.

"You dare disobey me?" Mr. Hogan remained his composture after he heard her laugh. His eyes darkened and a thick frost covered his blue iris. There were cracks on the surface of his frozen azure-colored eyes.

"What do I say? I really can't make your coffee" Camry voiced nonchalantly. Seeing the mighty boss getting vexed brought some kind of joy to her. The feeling was refreshing. Her stoic face had a slight smile on the surface although the smile did not reach her eyes.

Then followed silence, a very cold kind of silence that could freeze people's souls. Mr. Hogan stared at the unattractive stoic face for a long while.

The long lashes that fluttered in the movement of the gentle breeze, that unsmiling lips that had its corner raised in a mocking smirk. Her face alone caused his heart to churn in anger. It was really tempting to beat her up but he had his principles not to beat girls.

He turned around and left. Camry raised a brow, she slipped her hand into her pockets and eyed the door.

"Tsk... Here I thought he was going to fight it out with you. So boring" a certain voice came out of its hiding and sounded its disappointment.

"Oh" Camry muttered.

"Tch. See how vexed you made him. Poor man" the voice added. The partial voice would not stick to one side, it made Camry narrow her eyes dangerously.

"Quiet" she uttered coldly, with that, she walked out of the kitchen. The voice was once again swallowed into the depth of thoughts.

She walked back to the office, as she was slipping away into her own office, the boss stopped her.

"Take this" He pushed a book to her when she got to his table. "Since you are officially my secretary, it is better you take note of my schedule. You must relate to me my everyday activities without mistakes. I do not appreciate tardiness. Understood?"

Camry picked the book and flipped through, his activities for the entire year had been filled up. She raised a brow before closing the book. She met with the boss' eyes and gave a curt nod.

"Ok," she said in an unhurried voice. Seeing how she agreed with him so easily, he was tempted to raise a brow. Instead, he opened his mouth again and said,

"It's good that you know your duty. Tell me, what is my schedule for tomorrow?" he asked.

"Meeting with the foreign investors, press conference for the collaboration with the tech company from overseas and—"

"You! How did you—" Mr. Hogan found it hard to hide his stunned expression, he looked at her in disbelief. He only asked her to tell him what his schedule was to pressure her, of course, he knew that she had not read the book at all but she repeated what was written in the book word for word?

"What?" She chuckled.

"Just now, how did you know my schedule?" he questioned, he could not help but look at her suspiciously.

Camry heard this and chuckled, "Why? I am not that bad, I flipped through"

"You simply flipped through" he raised a brow. He obviously did not believe her. He felt really suspicious of her.

Camry arched a brow and chuckled, she found her boss quite hilarious. She actually has a photogenic memory which made it easier for her to grab things faster than normal people. It was left to him to believe her or not, she did not care.

"Okay," She said and turned around, leaving him to his unbelief. She walked back to her own office.

Mr. Hogan watched her lazy back disappearing, he narrowed his eyes thoughtfully. If she really "just flipped through" as she said then it was not entirely bad to have her work with him. There weren't many people who worked for him that had that ability. Although, that does not mean he will ever accept her rebelliousness. He still planned to break her to submit to him.

He got up from his chair and walked to the office next door, he stood by the door and his eyes cast a deep shadow on the girl sitting behind the desk.

Seeing him standing in front of her office, Camry raised a questioning brow. She did not seem to be interested in welcoming him. She drummed her fingers on the desk while she waited for him to speak.

"You are attending the press conference with me tomorrow and as my secretary, you need to dress appropriately" he uttered emphasizing the word "appropriately".

Her fingers paused, she tilted her head to the side and looked at the man. After a while, her fingers tapped the table again, she smiled coldly and hummed. Mr. Hogan returned to his office.

"You, go to the technical department..."

The rest of the day went by slowly. Camry finally understood what it meant to be a secretary for a man like her boss. His bossy nature was uncovered, poor Camry worked till she gritted her teeth.

As soon as working hours ended, Camry took her backpack and left the office without bothering to bid her boss goodbye. Seeing that she left, the man in the office raised his head, an unnoticed sharp glint flashed across his eyes. His thin lips curled up to form a cold smile. No one could tell what his thoughts were.

Outside the company building, the employees were exiting and many were getting into their cars but one person stood out explicitly in her black motorbike.

As it roared into life, the others could not help but turn to look at this spectacular scene but before they could watch for long, the bike made a screeching noise and zoomed off, leaving in its wake the dust that rose to settle.

It was a shocking scene for everyone, they could not help but stare at the bike which had become a blur longer. It was until a female worker cried out "Oh my... that was so cool" that everyone snapped out of their reverie.

"That rider works in our office, right?" Someone asked in astonishment.

"I guess so..." another responded.

"Really! Did you see who it was?" one chipped in.

"How could I have?! It happened so fast and..."

"I know right... I have never seen anyone ride a bike in such a cool way" a lady fawned.

"I bet it would be a very handsome guy!"

"He should be single, right?"

"Of course! Guys like this are always the single type"

Okay... the discussion was becoming weird and totally out of script...

Seeing that no one among those that were outside could tell who rode the bike, everyone went away but they had one thing in mind, they would find out who it was the next day!
