Chapter 12: Qualifcations

The girl on the stage said, "Before we start with the main selection we will check your speed and strength so please get ready." after saying that the girl and the four leaders left the stage and two had come on the stage carrying a strength measuring and a treadmill.

When Sia looked at the treadmill and the strength measuring machine she thought "I guess we will have to pass a certain benchmark of speed and strength before the actual selection. A mutated person will be able to throw a punch of a minimum of 30000 kg's and can run a 100-meter sprint in 3.5-4 seconds. I wonder what would be the benchmark be here?".

As Sia thought those words everyone on the first floor heard a voice that came out of a floating speaker, the voice said "Hello everyone! as you know that if you wanna qualify for the real selection you guys will have to pass this physical examination. As you see there is a strength measurer and a treadmill. If you wanna pass the physical examination you will have to do a 100m sprint on the treadmill in 2 seconds and you will have to pack a punch of at least 60000 kgs.".

The person who was announcing paused for a second, he smiled and said "And one more thing! You guys are not allowed to manifest your S-roots!" when everybody heard the announcer say the above words they were all shocked to their core.

Everybody in the room talked to each other, one person said "We cannot use our powers?! Damn it!" another person said "Are they serious?! How will we even achieve that level of speed and strength?!" another person said, "Damn it! I guess I should've trained myself physically more without using my S-root!!".

When Sia heard the announcer she thought "Thank God! I trained myself a lot physically! The last time I checked my speed I was able to complete a 100m sprint in 3 seconds and the power of my punch was about 45000 kg's but that was a month ago, I've not checked my power since that day, I don't know what to do?! I guess I will have to trust all the training I've done so far.".

As Sia thought that the announcer said "Alright! then let's start with the Qualification round of the Selection!".
