As much as things are getting worst, Vanessa just couldn't forget the kids. She needed to find them, it's not only for the mark to be completed, she just had a soft for children.

Vanessa sighed as she looked down at tge map. She was stuck, once again, in the same part of the land. It always lead to the abandoned land, where no creature would lay a leg on. It wouldn't be possible to find them there, that land wasn't any normal land, it killed every creature who went there. It's not possible for the kiddnapers to actually hold them hostages there, right?

Suddenly, as if a new door opened with light coming from it, it clicked. They're underground.

With that idea in her head, she opened drawers after drawers, trying to find the one map she knew that would led her straight to them. When she didn't find anything, she went to the small library that Jay had in his office.

Files were sat on the shelves, each alphabet in it's correct place. She raked her finger on the files, searching for anything that includes tye underground map.

When she haven't found anything, she pulled outsets of files filled with maps.

"Boy, this will get messy."

Lavender sat on her bed, drawing what she saw in her dreams. She always saw things that eventually came true, so she decided to draw the place where the scene played out in her dream and wrote a short paragraph explaining what happened.

She had a bunch of papers scattered in her bed. Lavender thought that there is some connection between everything. She also knew that she isn't normal, tge fact that she's growing so fast and so differently than any other child that she should be tgeir age, gave it out.

If her parents aren't going to tell her anything, she'll find out herself.

In the other day, she saw a scene where her mate, he was held in a room with other kids scattered around. Lavender decided to draw it and show it to her parents. She remembered that a man, with sharp eyes, came in and just stood there but next thing she knew she saw that their bodies began to shake uncontrollably.

By the time she was done drawing, the sun was setting as darkness was starting to spread into the landscape.

Lavender stretches her body, letting out a groan.

"I'll show them tomorrow..." She said as she yawned, sleep slowly overcomed her.

But little did she know, that was the biggest mistake she have done.

"Are these children of any use anymore?" Asked the man who stood in front of tge room where all the children were kept, guarding with his friend.

"I guess, i mean he wouldn't bring them here just for nothing..." Answered his friend.

Footsteps came down the hall way making them straightrn their backs in a hurry and look straight forward. Once their Alpha stood in front of them, they casted their heads and showed their necks in submitting.

The Alpha smirked, enjoying the power he finally deserved. He finally can be powerful and take what was rightfully his. Vanessa. He couldn't wait till he could watch her thrashing underneath him in pleasure. And then finally, she'll be carrying the pups he wanted. They'll be powerful, so powerful that everyone will fear them. Even though he found his mate, he wasn't too satisfied with what he got.

Ge entered the room, seeing kids scattered around like a piece of garbages. He thought about gow pathetic they looked and how the so called Alpha King didn't know how to rule. If he wad the Alpha King, which he plans to be, he wouldn't let anyone look like this, skinny and weak. They'll be walking around with a strong around them, they'll be the most powerful creatures in this planet.

That's all his mind chanted.

He looked at the boy who was seen in the park with a girl who looked like Vanessa herself. He bent down and geld the boy's jaw, raising it so that his eyes were at the same level as his.

"I'm asking this one last time, who was she?" The alpha spoke.

The boy sat there exhausted, looking at hik will small smirk of his. For a young boy as him, he sure didhave a lot of courage to face him. But sadly, he made thr wrong choice to show it to the alpha.

" Fine then, if you're having this you're way, then you wont mind the whips that'll be coming for your way, isn't it?"

With the mention of being whipped once again made the boy fill with fear but he still had his head up, not giving in.

The boy knew he should protect his mate. He didn't even know that he could detect his mate in a age as his. He's still 17,a naive wolf. To be able to detect your mate, you should at least be 18.

He remembered the day the first time he saw her. They met once again after that, they became best friends but he didn't feel content on being friends only. He didn't know if Lavender knew she was his mate. He's pretty sure she would at least feel attracted to him.

The Alpha stood infront of him, a whip in his head. He backed away and hid his back from the Alpha. There were still fresh wounds from earlier the day. Since he was the oldest among the children that were in the room. He had to stay strong for them and protect them, evem if it meant to sacrifice his life.

After all, his parents died from cowardness. They had gave up their souls because of fear of being killed, they got into witchcraft and sild their souls to the devil. They died while trying to find thr Alpha king's mate, which they did. It was a request from unknown person who they didn't know.

At that, he snapped his gaze and looked directly at the Alpha's eyes. This will mean that he wanted a challenge. The Alpha's eyes turned red, his wolf showing.

"𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄."The Alpha said, his voice a lot more deeper.

His towerimg height didn't help at all so he lowered his eyes on the ground.

" such a weakling, just like you're parents. Why not get into witchcraft like they did and work for me?"

His body shook, this time not from fear but with pure rage.
