Chapter 4 She Fainted

Hallie Morgan's eyelashes quivered slightly, and her hand bracing against the floor tightened into a fist again.

She bit her parched lower lip and looked at her, saying, "Action, let's keep going."

She couldn't give up. She couldn't go home anymore. She was about to have an abortion and urgently needed a job. This was her chance to stay on the crew.

"Slap."

"Slap."

"Slap."

Linda Collins continued to make mistakes, one after another.

"Keep going."

"Keep going."

Hallie Morgan's face was completely swollen now.

She stared at the still viciously glaring Linda Collins in front of her.

Originally, she had pursued Elijah Moore for a long time, only for Elijah to end up with her instead. Just because she was the adopted daughter of the Morgan family, didn't mean she was above her.

She glared viciously at the weakened Hallie Morgan on the ground, her face pale, her body faint and light, as if she would faint at any moment. She snorted coldly. Did this girl really think she was a match for her? Now, when she commanded her to kneel, she would kneel. Tell her to be silent, and she wouldn't dare utter a word.

"Wait a minute." Hallie Morgan felt like she was about to vomit. She quickly held her chest, not wanting to lose her composure.

The director behind her turned his head.

"What's going on? Can we continue shooting or not? If we can't, let's replace her quickly. Do not waste everyone's time here."

Hallie Morgan quickly shook her head, regaining her composure, and looked at Linda Collins standing there. "We can shoot, let's continue."

Linda Collins reached out her hand, and slapped her once more...

Hallie Morgan fell flat on the ground, in a daze, as if hearing the exclaims of the people around her.

"What happened?"

"Doctor, get the doctor over here quickly."

"What's going on, who brought this extra? She's terribly bad luck."

Hallie Morgan woke up in the hospital.

A furious Evelyn Olsen was beside her, "You didn't even mentioned that you were pregnant. If you want to die, fine, but don't drag me down with you."

"I..." Hallie Morgan grabbed her arm, pleading in her voice, "Evelyn, I'll abort the baby soon, don't send me away."

"Enough, I thought you were honest and let you join the crew. I didn't expect you to be such a deceitful person behind my back. Such a reckless artist might ruin me at any moment, I won't take this risk. Bringing you here is already a great kindness, you'll have to figure out your path from now on."

"No, the child was an accident."

"I have no interest in hearing about your colorful private life."

She forcefully shook off Hallie Morgan's grasp, causing Hallie to be yanked off the bed onto the floor.

She felt dizzy, and Evelyn Olsen was dumbfounded, her voice turning shrill, "If you're going to die, do it somewhere else, don't die here, get out!"

Just as she was about to kick her, a group of formally dressed men in black suddenly appeared at the hospital door. They surrounded the ward tightly, intimidating bodyguards one after another, tall and expressionless. A middle-aged man at the forefront came in, looked down at the person on the ground, his expression abruptly chilling.

Evelyn couldn't help but feel a chill down her spine, her body breaking out in goosebumps.

As a worldly woman, she recognized the weight of these people at a glance. What did these people do? Why were they looking for Hallie Morgan?

Wasn't Hallie Morgan just a bastard from the Morgan family? When did she get to know such people?

Hallie Morgan also lifted her head to look at the people before her, her eyes widening in surprise.

Who were they?
