CHAPTER 39: Tattoo Goals

Valek drove us back to the college. The students in the parking lot kept staring at us till we parked the car as if they thought of us as some kind of aliens roaming the planet earth in their spaceship.

"Everyone is going to think this is your car," I say to Valek as he pulled the brake and turned the engine off.

"This is yours Lily, why are you being this sort of possessive about it?" And anyways, no one's going to ask me about it either, so chill," Valek said as he turned back to pick up our bags.

He handed my bag over to me and opened his door to get out. I got out of the car too.

"Hey dude, sweet ride," a boy came over us as we got out. He was riding a skateboard and was dressed as a DJ mix basketball player.

"Thanks man," Valek replied to him casually and started walking towards the main door.

"What the hell was that?" I jumped a few steps to get to Valek and asked him.
