CHAPTER 40: Annual Party

We left the shop about two hours after getting the perfect best friends' symbolic tattoos on our wrists. The first hour was spent in preparation and the fake tattoo making. The other hour probably included only Valek's screaming and crying for help and cursing the tattooist for hurting him.

"You just sat there laughing at me while that murderer tried to kill me," Valek said while holding his left hand with his right one as if it was injured and he had a broken bone.

"She was doing her job Valek," I told him while comforting him for the rest of our way.

"I will make that beast lady go to hell, I swear to that," Valek said as we drove off from there back to my house.

"So are you excited for tomorrow?" I asked Valek while he parked the car in the garage.

"What about tomorrow?" Valek asked me, trying to act as if he didn't know what I was talking about.

"About the party Valek," I told him.

"Do we really have to go?" Valek asked me.
