CHAPTER 44: The Refusal

The branches started turning and twisting around like they did before. Uncle Bael gave off his small wicked grin, he felt proud of himself, of making us feel like fools when we laughed at him before.

"Who's the mad one now?" Uncle Bael said while still showing the wide victorious smile on his face, which went from the middle of the right cheek and all the way to the middle of the left cheek.

"Yes, ok fine this is cool, I agree," I said while getting pretty excited too, and feeling a little lame at myself as well.

"We got much more and greater problems than this uncle, so save your smile," Valek said.

We stood there watching the tree's branches turning into the same portal-gate, they had transformed into before. Valek exhaled a small breath and went straight through the portal, followed by me and Uncle Bael behind him.
