CHAPTER 51: Death

I must have gotten unconscious when we passed through the barrier on the ground. The last thing I heard was Valek telling me that we are not going to hit the ground. I faced a hard time trying to open my eyes. I could barely feel my fingers and toes, it was as if they weren't even there anymore.

"Va…lee..k??" I tried calling out Valek but I think I must have called him out in my head.

A second later I realized, it was not just in my head, but I was in fact calling out his name. I couldn't speak properly because of some heavy weight I was feeling over my neck and my chest as if something was pressing onto me. It made it difficult for me to breathe properly.

"Lily, are you ok? Open your eyes…Lilyy?" I heard Valek's voice, but it was faint, or maybe the numbness of mind made it sound like faint.

However, his voice echoed back to me too as if we were present in a large hollow space or some sort of hall.
