A loud commotion broke out and the leader lifted his fist in the air. The crowd again grew silent. From Dirk’s view he could see that some were breaking away from the horde. The imminent threat of a quake made many scared and he knew they would try to get to safety.


They could see the leader was intrigued. “What mission?”


“We are a group of scientists that received information regarding the water which we need to check. This would help every person here, and in the rest of the region, if this information is correct.” 


Dirk paused and took another deep breath. Tanya already had a mask on her face the entire time. The putrid air devastating to their lungs.
