"You are going Sonia?" They were busy with supper, talking, when Alexi joined them and the conversation turned to Sam.


"Nothing. They are busy with the investigation, is all Turmel says."


"I still cannot get over it. The man saved my life."


"An officer contacted me. I have to give my statement," Sonia informed them. 


"The man is going bonkers," Lee Ann said.


"I pushed for clearance until they let me call him. He is not doing well all cooped up."


"I can believe that. Sam enjoyed his freedom and open spaces."


Sonia could swear she saw a mistiness in her friend, but averted back to her plate as she took a bite. Then the table turned towards her.


"You didn't answer me. Are you going?" Lee Ann continued with the conversation. 


"Where?" Alexi looked at both women, baffled.
