Alexi removed the hood and mantle from her shoulders. He handed her one red rose with a white ribbon, which she held carefully. Inside, her love was on his knee, dashing in his military's uniform.

His action confirmed her thoughts. He had done this! Their eyes locked and her world changed - gone was the old life. This was it. With him. Soft music accompanied her inside.

"Sonia Deborah Main, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife, today?" All eyes were on them.

Touching his face she bent, gave him a lingering kiss and without thinking twice she said, "Yes, Curt McGee, I will."

His smile glowed as he straightened. People clapped while whoops filled the air. They decorated the living area with white candles, balloons and roses. Creating a pathway to a small patio as their guests surrounded them.

Phillip waited with a grin. The full impact of what they were about to do, hitting her. The tears were unstoppable, the moment too big.
