Part 4: Chapter 83: The reality of another man’s child

"For an old man you are good," she could not help but to tease much later. He kissed her chastely on the forehead, laughing.

"I think you need to sleep before this old man gets more ideas." She pressed soft lips against his chest and relaxed into him.

They fell asleep exhausted and were only awakened by the sun high in the sky. Startled she came up, and he brought her back to her spot.

"No work for today. You are off duty, Captain McGee." She fell back laughing. "It has a nice sound."

"How about another round," but her stomach's grumble had a word about it as well.

"Later, let us eat first." Moving away from the bed he followed, grabbing two new robes to cover them, one for him and one for her, a wedding gift from Lee Ann.

"I never thanked you for yesterday," she said as he tied the robe around her waist, and he furrowed a brow.

"What was last night then?"

"Foreplay," she said cheekily, laughing as she stepped outside.
