"Bing hurry up you still got 10 minutes before your off" a guard wearing purple daoist clothing spoke from the entrance of the cave. They were the guards of the Lou family which is a small family in a small town in a small kingdom in a small country.

The person they were calling is me Bing, I hadn't been given a proper name because my mother had died giving birth to me and my father had died before I was born to some wild beasts. I am a slave to the Lou family and once I turned 10 years old they gave me a little house near the mine and I had to stay here for 5 years and mine for the family to gain freedom.

I'm currently 13 years old so I had to mine for 2 more years before I get to choose a better and different job. I had mined over hundreds of low grade spirit stones and a few medium grade spirit stones, this mine was a medium grade mine so it was abundant with low grade spirit stones and medium grade spirit stones were rare to find.

10 minutes later Bing walked out of the mine handing the spirit stone to the guards but before he left the guards patted him up and down just in case he tried to steal from the family. Bing couldn't reject as he was weaker then the guards they were both early pre-body refinement realm masters and if they wanted to they could easily kill him in a matter of punches.

After being searched Bing walked back to his home which was a minute walk away from the mine right when he got in he passed out on his bed soundly asleep. 8 hours passed and he woke up so he started doing simple exercises he had learnt from a book he bought from the Lou family. He also got a lot of things the more he mined like better and more nutritious food and a basic body refinement booklet it was for people who wanted to become a cultivator but the booklet could only help them become a pre-body refinement realm master.

After finishing his exercise he read the booklet. 'Pre-body refinement, body refinement, Qi circulation and foundation establishment realms' was written in golden color, it gave out information of each realm and the last page had the breathing technique written down 'pre body-refinement breathing technique'.

This breathing technique allowed you to draw in Qi from the surrounding and refine the body but people not on the pre-body refinement realm couldn't absorb Qi because it was to chaotic the safest way is to let an elder let you absorb refined and calm Qi. Bing had tried his best to absorb Qi with the technique but nothing happened all that happened was him gaining more energy but he couldn't feel the Qi.

After his meditation session Bing went back into the mine to start working he had a long day ahead of him. "Did you hear the young master has become a body refinement realm expert". "Yeah he's entered the first level and he is only 15 years old". The guards talked about the Lou family's young master and many other things which Bing paid close attention to in just 3 years he has learned a lot of things from the guards, there were currently 3 young masters and 4 young misses of the Lou family the oldest being Lou Chen currently 37 years old and a level 7 body refinement realm expert and is said to become a Qi circulation master by the time he turns 60.

Lou Chen wasn't considered old in the cultivation world as body refinement experts could live over 100 years old and Qi circulation masters can live over 200 years old, the second son is 27 years old and is in the military serving the the kingdom, being a level 5 body refinement he is considered more talented then his older brother.

The last young master was only 15 and still in the royal academy of the kingdom called thundercloud academy of the thundercloud kingdom. He only knew a little about the misses as they were not home and at the thundercloud academy.

While mining Bing suddenly heard a metallic sound and looked at the ore, it was pitch black and absorbed the light coming from the crystal he held that emitted light. He mines around it trying to dig it out but it seemed stuck to the wall until he had completely dug everything around it out. Holding it in his hand he felt an ominous aura coming from it but before he could put it in his bag it vibrated before shooting towards Bing.

Bing wanted to scream but the stone blinded him leaving him groaning, the crystal dug out his eyes. "Aggggh" Bing yelled so loud that it traveled to the entrance of the mine, the guards looked at each other before one of them rushed in. The crystal had split into two and replaced his eyes his eyes became pitch black and the whites came back.

"Why are you screaming Bing!" The guard came next to Bing and yelled at him. "I'm gunna take a break today I don't feel so good" Bing looked at the guard showing some blood. "You can take a break 1 week is all you get then you have to come back and start working". The guard looked at Bing sympathetically he remembered when he was the same age and was mining ores but now so many years had passed.

"Thank you sir" Bing left but before leaving he looked around for his eyes but they had disappeared he quickly ran home afterwards.

"What is this thing?" Bing looked in front of him words were written in the air which he read.

"What are these? Show me the details" Bing accepted the system and went along with it now that it could help him become more powerful and he can leave being a slave.
