Chapter 31 Noelle

It's 7:50PM and we've reached the Reeds Mansion. Zeroni was to come with Reece but she denied for me. All the way through, I kept practising my questions that I'll ask this guy today.

To be honest, Zeroni is very nice human being. I know, I'm a pathetic person. A pathetically jealous person rather. But now that I know she's their sibling, my previously burning liver is perfectly alright. Why does our mind stop working over jealousy issues? And why even was I jealous anyway?

Audum Reed is nothing of a catch. I mean... he's not thaaat good. OKAY OKAY he is. Who am I lying to? Isn't he rude tho? Even if it's just to me and what the hell were those contacts in his phone? "Sponge bob" "Pea-brain"

Noelle focus, FOCUS. Right now isn't a time to obsess about someone who doesn't even give a damn about your existence.

Zeroni and I step inside the main gate just to witness Reece running his legs out to the mansion.

"Why's he in such a rush?" marks Zeroni.

"Must be upto something important" I follow up.

"Oh" she spits as though she's got an idea of what Reece is upto.

"Must have been called by Audum" Zeroni adds and I choke.

"You okay?" She enquires and I nod while clearing my throat.

"Are you nervous?" She rubs my back as I'm struggling with my choked throat.

"Not in the slightest, I'm completely fine" I squeak at her. Am I though?

"You shouldn't be this nervous, Noelle. Audum is a bit moody....as you already know"

Ofcourse I know. Who knows better than his punch-bag which is my beloved fragile self. *dramatic sobs

"But nonetheless, he's a good person. As I mentioned on the way to here, he's been this dramatic and absurd only to you."

Ofcourse, in the whole wide world with a billion population, he only found me appropriate enough to be rude with. Perfection.

"But as they say 'a restaurant is as good as it's worse menu', his goodness goes down the drain after these actions for which he didn't even apologise."

This feels so good. Zeroni is such a big sister material. Even though she's related to Audum, she chose to side with what's ethically right. I'm heartfelt.

"Knowing him, I can assure you that he must have had his reasons of which he owes you an explaination so, don't be nervous".

"And if you're afraid of confronting him alone, I can accompany you if that's okay with you?"

"You're such a nice person Zeroni" I hug her. I'm moved to tears right now. How can you be that blinded by your jealously, Noelle?? *heartfelt sobs

You couldn't see what gem of a person you were living with and hating on. But still, her extra royal-like behaviour doesn't get a pass. *heartfelt sobs

"Well well well look at this dramatic little puppy" exclaims the red fairy.

"This is nothing. There'll be an epic drama if Noelle confronts Audum today" pokes in the white fairy.

"I'd like to agree with you as for the first time in forever you've made sense"

"Really, Red?"

"You have my assurance"

"I mean't it rhetorically" the white fairy rolls her eyes. "All I know is that it would be very bad for her to attack Audum today who's already been infuriated by that nasty old slob."

"Yeah, today's not the right time but what can we do, huh? Besides watching it from a safe distance."
