We finally made it into the hallway which is pleasure to the eyes. It definitely has some punk to it besides the ball aesthetic. It's a club kind of ball vibe. Pretty interesting.

"This has got to be Reece", Zeroni comments.
"You look at this vibe, Noelle? This is Reece's taste."
"I'm pretty impressed", I reply whilst checking out the hall.
"Come on, let's go and find my mom", she suggests.
Wait. Who's the mom. The red velvet arrogance from last time?
"What's your mom's name, Zeroni?" I lay out the fact checker.
"Mel- I mean Patricia"
"Wow, you were about to mispronounce your mom's name?"
"Haha no. Tongue slip" she shrugs. "Patricia Timothy Reed it is" she calls out her name correctly this once.
Oh so red arrogant velvet it is.
"Come"
How do I avoid this now? God!! send help!!
"Oh look, maniac", I point out.
"Where?" Zeroni replies.
"I mean Reece, walking around like a maniac, bumping into people."
"What's wrong with him today?"
"Let me take a look"
"But- I flee upstairs before Zeroni can say another word.
"Hey", I poke Reece from behind.
"Oh my god" he exclaims as he's out of his breath and hugs me.
"How are you?-
"I'm-
"Have you seen my father?" He follows up with another question before I could reply.
"No, I just arrived"
"Okay cool, enjoy and do inform me if you happen to see Timo- I mean my dad" He runs hastily through the crowd towards the other side.
"Oak-kay...." I reply into the air which he never hears.
I continue to walk through the mansion. I only saw that one guest space below last time and Audum-well, speak of the devil and here he is staring at the glass of whatever form of alcohol he's drinking at the bar.
"You?" He glances at me as my shadow casts onto the counter.
"Me" I shrug. I'm trynna give nice hippy vibes so that he doesn't dissect me when I turn into a lawyer.
"You came huh?" He smiles as he sounds drunk.
"Did you expect otherwise?"
"No no" he raises his glass and takes a sip.
"I knew you'd come"
"Oh really?"
"Yes. I had an intuition".
"Any specific reason for inviting me into a family themed ball?"
"Family themed?"
"Yeah. I mean, I didn't spot any college freak here."
"Freak" he chuckles whilst taking another sip from the glass.
"You know this is bad, right?"
"What's bad?" He clears his throat and narrows his fiery hazel eyes at me.
"This" I circle his glass.
He laughs and then puts his glass down. "Okay, we're done drinking. No more wine."
Wow. Did he just listen to me? I didn't even check if the sun rose from east only, today.
"So, now" he turns towards me. "What made you come at my invitation?"
Well. It's a whole good story my dear Audum Reed. You'll know when the time and environment seems right to me. The drunk state is a no for now.
"Nothing specific" I spit and there erupts a loud sound and Audum's phone rings with Reece calling over.
