Looking at Divinus gave me a realization. How strong will he be when he fully evolves if he can one-shot an elder earth dragon? I may have created a walking, talking, calamity in the making. That just made it all the more interesting though. After the applause ended I picked up Divinus in my arms and headed towards the remains of the dragon. Since there wasn't really anything left of the dragon that could be scavenged I just gunned straight for the chest.
When I opened it I saw three books, none of which were skill books but, instead they were tomes. Tomes were educational books that deeply guided the reader on a specific set of spells under a certain type. The Tomes went from beginner to master level. The four inside the chest were all of the advanced level. They were on the elements of fire, water, earth, and wind. After I collected them and put them in storage, with Divinus in one arm, we went back home to the mansion.
When I arrived home, I went inside Divinus' room and placed him on his bed. I sent everyone else off to their own devices and went to the library since there was still some time before dinner. When I arrived inside the library I sat down at a nearby table and pulled out the Tomes I received in the dungeon. I started with the wind tome just to get the gist of what they contained.
When I began to read it I had discovered that it not only had the advanced wind spells inside but also the beginner ones as well. Spells from wind shot, to hurricane, and plenty more were inside it. I must have lost track of time reading since I saw that Elaine came inside the library to tell me that dinner was prepared. Today we were having grilled boar ribs, a fruit similar to oranges that was from this world, and a sort of fruit salad.
Let's just say that everyone's plate of food disappeared very quickly. I found later on that Elaine's cooking skill was maxed out and evolved into a skill called Master Cook. Apparently that skill also has levels to it, I wonder if there is a cooking skill beyond that? If so, would that mean that no matter what she cooks it would taste amazing beyond recognition?
I am so glad that when I made her she started with that skill. I was so happy with the food she made that I smiled in delight and thanked her for the food from the bottom of my heart. She went red with embarrassment before she collected all the dishes in less than a second and ran back to the kitchen with dust clouds forming behind her from the speed. After I got up from the table I went to my room and went to sleep.
When I woke up I took some extra time relaxing in my bath, staring at my ceiling. I thought back to a few of the events in the past then scratched them off in my head as I got out of the bath. After I got dressed and had breakfast, we headed back into the dungeon. The 21st floor looked the same but clearly had different monsters. There were even rabbits on this floor that were level 210. They were golden rabbits and were extremely fast. In the forest leading to the mountain there were tigers, wolves, panthers, dragons, and deer.
Apparently there was actually a new lake on the floor that had several aquatic monsters but that will have to wait until we get there. The mountain no longer has dragons, but instead has yetis and titans. Everyone started to get excited and we decided to explore the forest first. The forest, mountain, and lake were much bigger than we thought they were. When we first entered the forest we encountered hordes of golden rabbits.
These rabbits gave large amounts of experience when killed and their skin could probably be used in clothing, bedding, and pillows since they were so soft. It took about an hour before the incoming amount of rabbits slowed down. After another 30 minutes we encountered a pack of wolves with silver fur. What surprised me wasn't the fact that their fur was extremely soft and blunt resistant, but the fact that they could cast varying types of magic depending on the color of their fur. This type of wolf was able to cast healing magic to its allies. Not that it would get the chance to do so because the wolves tend to die in one strike.
We started to encounter packs of wolves with mixed colors matching their respective elements like red to fire and blue to water. As we were continually bombarded by packs of wolves, white tigers started to mix in and attack us as well. Apparently the highest level of this floor increased to 275 and that would be the boss.
We probably won't be fighting it for a few days though considering the size of the floor. One of the tigers managed to land a solid strike on Lydia, but she just shrugged it off like it was nothing, then proceeded to kill it. The amount of monsters we defeated became an absurd amount but we still haven't gone far enough into the forest to encounter panthers and dragons yet.
However I decided after we finished off the remaining enemies in the area that we would head back for the day and everyone followed me back home. When we returned Mary and Lydia went to the church, Elaine went to the kitchen, Malkin returned to his smithy, Adela and Celeste went to train with their dummy golems with their new found power, Divinus dragged Sicarius around the house, and Dan went to train as well. When everyone went to their own devices I decided to do something on my own.
I went outside to take a look at the aftermath of killing the guild master and removing that pesky assassination group. When I entered the city I headed to the closest restaurant and entered inside. I sat down and ordered a few things just to sit down for a while and listened in on several conversations. Apparently there is a rumor going around that the guild master was killed by a monster and that same monster killed off the assassins group as well.
There was also a rumor going around about the mysterious disappearance of the mansion owned by Clan Nightmare. Some believe it just moved itself, others believe it was taken by magic but anyone who said this was just laughed at. I paid my bill and left the restaurant to just laugh at the stupidity of the masses. Then again nobody will know what really happened because all witnesses were killed.
