Jeanie read her latest creation more than once. The thought of sharing it with the real source of her inspiration danced across her mind, but she wasn´t sure if he´ll take it right. What if he misunderstood her? She didn´t think about it a lot and typed his email address:

Can you take a look of this and tell me your thoughts about it? There´s a writing contest and I´m thinking to sign in. Do I have the talent?
She attached the document and pressed the “sent” button closing her eyes. There was nothing to do at that point. She had already sent it and all her regrets were only that, a reckless teenager´s regrets. She knew she was young and stupid and that became her justification to every bad decision.
Surprisingly, the answer was almost automatic:

I don´t know much about it, but I do think you´re talented. It´s nice to be someone´s inspiration ;-)
Jeanie blushed and wished earth to swallow her. It was a good thing they weren´t face to face. He had noticed! And of course he had! He was older, more experienced and extremely smart. She couldn´t believe she was so stupid to think she could fool him! Her phone rang again with another email notification:

P.S: I think you should totally sign in to that writing contest. I´ll be your number one fan and the most supportive friend. See? I can be as good friend as you ;-)
The most idiotic smile was drawn on Jeanie´s face and she quickly tried to hide it from the people looking at her. She kept her phone on her jean´s pocket and tried not to over react or even to think about it. She was sure it was better if she stopped writing to him for a while. He shouldn´t think she was a stalker or something like that.
Closing the apartment´s door behind her, Jeanie longed and smiled for herself; or that was what she thought.
- Why so happy? – Beth interrupted her little private moment.
- No specific reason – she lied – I´m signing in to participate at the writing contest.
- I thought you hated poetry – Beth hesitated.
- There´s a prose category. I could submit one of my short stories.
- That´s nice!
- I know, right? – her eyes glowed – Now I have to read them all and select one!
- That´s gonna be hard.
- You should help me.
- Are you crazy? I can barely chose the cloth I´ll wear! I´m sorry Jeanie, but I´m not good at it. Maybe you should call Krystal. I´m sure she can help.
- I´m actually going to my parents this weekend. I promised Ashley I would be there. I think I´m gonna ask her for help. We´ve been a little bit distant since I moved. And she gets jealous.
- I´m sorry if I´m a great sister material! – Beth complained.
- Hey! Don´t be like that! – Jeanie replied – I spend the whole week with you! Give her some room! I can love them all!
- I know, but you always get the jealous ones – she joked.
- I can see that. But don´t worry, I´ll be here on Sunday and we can go to the post office to send my story.
- That´s something I can totally do! – she smiled – I´m going out now and maybe I don´t come back tonight.
- Where are you going?
- Out with my future boyfriend – she smiled – Lock yourself in and don´t open the door to anyone! – she said to Jeanie as a worried mom.
- Ok – Jeanie laughed – Have fun.
Jeanie went to bed trying to decide which of her stories was good enough to send to the contest. With those thoughts, she fell asleep.
